A particually bad offender in respects to, "The person with better cards will win so you better grind, but you have to grind against people with better decks or give us money in order to get the resorces to build a better deck."

And yes, I am aware that the arena exists so you could grind there. But in order to get the dark brotherhood and madhouse cards, you need 4,500 gold in chunks of at least 1,000, so if you grind in the arena, the rate at which you'll acumulate the gold for those cards will be hampered so much that you won't be getting any of them for a very long time.

I'm surprised anyone thinks this is worth real money, or time.

Fistful of Frags is a great free first person shooter with unique mechanics.

This game is an unpolished buggy mess.

Mousing over a keyword ability is supposed to explain what the ability actually is, but in almost all cases it just gives you the card's text in another text box.

I've mulliganed and have been unable to drag the only one cost card I have into the play area.

I've leveled up only to not receive any of the rewards I was promised for doing so.

And worst of all are the desyncs that make the game totally unplayable.

On the gameplay side, the non-standard modes appear to be totally barren, those modes being the only ones (other than draft) that eliminate the pay/grind-to-win aspects inherent in any tcg/ccg.

And the draft mode is just a gambling game where you pray to RNGesus to please give you good cards to chose from.

All that being said, it's free to play so I guess there's no good reason for people reading this not to try it.

If you revel in the thrill of discovery, you would be doing yourself a disservise by not playing this game.

However, this game isn't for everyone. At the risk of sounding pretentious, you must be willing to truly apply your brainpower in order to get the most out of this game.

In this game's current state I wouldn't recommend playing it.

But if in the future the game's buggy/clunky interface is fixed and some sort of checkpoint system is introduced so you don't have to deal with the chore of starting from the very begining every time you fail, it would probably be a pretty good game.

This game provides an incredibily rich experience with fantastic characters and uniqe gameplay.

Surprisingly, it's a game for both sadists and pacificts.

And most of all, it's a game for people who love puns.

I used to really enjoy this game a long time ago. Unfortunately though the small playerbase means that every match will have egregiously high ping, making it so that you will inevitably die to attacks that you avoided on your screen. Oh, and after you die to one of those attacks there's pretty good odds that an enemy will hit the taunt button because unlike other games that will lock you into a taunt animation, this game just lets you freely spam the button without any possibility of being punished for it.

One button press by one person kills everyone. I know Horzine had some questionable practices, but this is rediculous.
