You play as John Ward, a preacher in the 1980’s whose gone *slightly* insane due to a failed exorcism on a very real demon inside of Amy Martin. The game follows our strapping young man in his quest to keep a grip on his sanity and religion, all while dodging a copious amount of obstacles, cultists, and demons (most of which are not involved to the demon in Amy at all, funny enough). Will you succumb to the pressure of the antichrist, or will your FAITH endure?

Overview of the story aside (the story is still incredible tho) this game is an honest-to-god masterpiece. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, most people you show this game will go “haha this won’t be scary” and then see Amy Martin rise up in the bed in a scarily-accurate rotoscoped cutscene and suddenly pee themselves out of fear. This game hits all the marks of a good horror game for me: twisting of expectations, incredible visuals, great horror theme, and unexpected humor to have some breaks from the tension. One moment you’re screaming because a demon grabbed you while the game was silent, the next you’re screaming out of laughter because LOSS was written on a curtain in an abortion clinic. Airdorf really does deserve a medal for this game, idc what kind but a medal for it for sure. If the game wasn’t already wrapped up in a nice bow I’d honestly pay $60+ per chapter for a Faith 4, 5, and 6. I hope I’ve more than convinced you to play the game, and also please go watch YouTubers play this too because almost half the fun of horror games to me are seeing how other people react to it as well.

Oh yeah one more thing,
M O R T I S

And one one more thing,
I’m still waiting for cat boy John and the Michael Davies romance route, where is it Mr Airdorf

This game is like doing computer programming homework for fun with a hidden, unspoken deadline that never directly looms over your head but you KNOW it's there somewhere, waiting. Also the tutorial is super long and yet only covers like 10% of the game that's honestly incredible. 9.5/10, hurts my brain 24/7

Just play it, don't ask any questions about why, just play it now.
