Loved every minute of it! And the scenery is gorgeous if you can handle the graphics. The gameplay is sort of a Far Cry style where the territories are controlled by the tyrant, and you can free territories by capturing camps. Also gave me a Wind Waker-ish feel traveling across the sea of sand from place to place. You gain scrap and parts along the way to upgrade your car, the Magnum Opus; and yourself, Max. You can also use any other car you find in the game, but sadly no bikes or war rigs. This is only singleplayer, however you can compare race times with friends. On-foot gameplay is in third-person, but there is the (suicidal) option to use first-person while driving. Vehicle combat feels great! Fast-paced and intense like in a movie. and the on-foot combat looks and feels just as brutal and intense! There are a few bugs like occasionally having the cursor stick around after being in the menu which can be easily fixed by quickly opening and closing the menu; another is very rarely (twice in 92 hours for me) being stuck in the menu, where I would have to turn off the game. This wasn't a big problem though since the game frequently autosaves. I've heard complaints about the game feeling repetitive, which I guess just depends on the person because I never got tired of exploding cars, chases, shooting, looting, surviving storms, and just exploring. Plus a great bit of story if you're an interested Mad Max fan. Definitely worth the Steam price, though you can find it for much less on other sites like I did :) Would recommend anyday!
