Northern Journey is a humble game that does a lot with minimal design, being all done by one guy. Definitely worth a playthrough if you're looking for an adventure game with light puzzle and platformer aspects. The combat is reminiscent of older shooters, and the ambience (i.e. music, water, wind, etc.) is solid. 2 thumbs North.

Criticisms:
-Don't forget to quick save, saving in this game is a part-time job.
-The water bubbles look really round and 3D, like little pearls flowing around your face. It's weirdly noticeable, especially because all other water assets look incredible.

I love this game and its first iteration, not the third. The GFWL problem is something I hear you can get a fix for, and keys are available for this game on key sites for pretty cheap. Lost Planet 2 is a forgotten game that could enter (or has entered) cult classic status. The world, enemy/boss design, level design, vehicle gameplay, loot & customization, etc. are phenomenal, and if anyone can get multiplayer / co-op functional, then gather some boys and try it.

Capcom is a dumb business, and they don't understand that pulling this game (as well as RE: ORC, SF x Tekken, etc.) for 1+ year and onwards is a mistake, but there are ways around it, and trying to get this game up and running is worth a shot just to see how fun it can really be.

If you liked Verdun, you'll like this. It has the same snappy, slow rifle play, but with the addition of beautiful maps and decent gameplay improvements.

I only got this because I am excited for the upcoming (as of Fall 2020) Wood Elves rework. This game deserves praise but a few of its DLC deserve to be criticized, this one and the Beastmen DLC being the bottom 2.

CA does look like they're about to make amends though so let's see!
