This was an amazing game, the players with hundreds of hours will tell you as much.

With how P2W it's become, it's simply unbearable. I've been buying season passes for the first year and a bit, but have since stopped and stopped playing as even with that it still didn't feel like enough.

Stopped playing since the release of Arishem and haven't looked back. Fond memories, but don't pick up this game.

Oh, Slay the Spire... where do I even begin?

A very simple game to learn, yet a fairly challenging game to master. I bought it on a half price sale, but with the amount of fun I've had playing this game, I'd have easily paid full price. Each of the characters are vaguely similar on the surface, but have infinitely deep exclusive synergies that I wouldn't want to spoil for you here. After 44 hours, I've finally bested the spire, and now just need to snag all the ascensions and achievements.

The best part about StS, in my opinion, is its replayability. While on the surface, a few synergies and a handful of differing options sounds really lame, the deckbuilding part of this deckbuilding rougelike forces you to deal with the cards you're dealt. You can always go in thinking "Alright. This game, I'm going to buff up my block all the way!" but get dealt cards to go to a different deck.

Slay the Spire is such an easy 10/10 game for me, and the fact that it runs on potatoes such as my laptop buffs it up to a portable-10/10. HIGHLY recommend.

It's a great survival game to begin with, then you get to play it with friends and it gets all the better.
