I will change my review to Positive once Capcom remove Denuvo and fix the performance issues.

While the game freezes and chugs often on Linux Mint, the game itself is really fun so far, improving on the previous entries' mechanics while adding some nice, speedy QoL stuff, like skipping the end of quest timer, letting you explore after the quest ends, and letting you just create a quest to kill a monster right from the map screen. But they REALLY need to fix those performance issues, especially since this is running on high-end hardware.

The game is great, fantastic even (I've spent the majority of my playtime via GOG), however, I recommend sitting down and giving the "legal issues" section of the Wikipedia article, and related material, a good long read.

Tütreke OÜ acquired ZA/UM (the developer and publisher) through dubious means and ousted the original creators, and in early 2024, laid off 25% of the staff. The majority of the layoffs were women and employees complaining about the working conditions.

Support the original creators on Patreon, and if you really want to play it, find it in a humble bundle and set the charity slider to maximum.

Play PoE 2. No, really.

When it releases for free, go play it and come back to this $70 (on release) game made by a "triple A" developer and tell me it was worth the price, ludicrous storage space, and shoving microtransactions down your face-hole.

The game is great so far and is worth the asking price, however, the voice chat does not work in lobbies, but works in matches, on Linux.

I really hope this is fixed, either by a Proton update or the developer.
(Edit: clarified the voice chat only works in matches on linux instead of not working at all.)

Even though this game isn't finished at the time of this review, the core gameplay loop and progression both feel very satisfying and solid, and I (can)'t wait to see how this game develops up to release.

Works great on Linux and runs well on the Steam Deck, only complaint is lack of UI scaling options. Hopefully something to be added in the future or as a post-release patch.

great, cozy, puzzle game with a bunch of secrets in the environment.

please for the love of god look up the last couple puzzles if you get motion sick/are bothered by flashing/changing colours.
