So the core game of "kill monsters, make pajamas" is still awesome. The new mechanics they added keep the weapons fresh and give you cool new utility, the new fighting mechanics like clashes and counters are pretty sick and give you fun ways to beat the monsters down and reward you for knowing the moves and timings.

My main frustrations so far are, to me, a seemingly excessive amount of dialogue cutscenes and just cutscenes in general and some annoyance at the dialogue options everywhere. It's not by any means a specifically wrong game decision I just joined for the moderate lore and maximum murder barbie dressup. The variety method to get into your friends lobbies can be a bit convoluted as you figure it out, but easy enough once you get done with that stage.

Overall definitely some fun monster murder mayhem.

Great game so far, enemies are at least vaguely challenging in the later stages of normal mode, the expert mode you unlock after beating normal once gives enemies more abilities and more shield/health and they do more damage for an even larger challenge.

A great game to play with friends both casually and seriously, as you can combine elemental affects and builds on the characters using both the upgrades and sharing of scrolls to accomplish some pretty cool things.

My only complaint at this point is that the final boss fight is so different from any of the others, the bosses so far are pretty much just "shoot this and try not to get shot until either you or it dies"(of course if you various weapons or skills it is much easier than without), however the final boss has actual stages and things you need to do to make it attackable, so is fairly strange compared to the rest but definitely a good challenge.

While I do not agree with all of the changes they have made recently, my biggest complaints being the apparent lack of storyline and some of the PvP changes(their weapons update), I definitely enjoy the game. I played D1, and got D2 back near its release on both xbone and PC. I would definitely recommend people try it, as its a fun game to play with friends or solo, though you need a group for some of the activities

A very fun game if you find the right server, though some servers are friendly and made up of tribes that are willing to help you by giving you tools and euipment, others might just kill you for the fun of it. a very interesting and quickly expanding game that i highly recommend as a good buy

A great game with fairly realistic damage.
Gives you multiple roles to play, and even in those roles you can play different styles very effectively. However, this game is not one where you can, generally speaking, just swing at enemy and kill them. The block system, along with parry, and dodge, works quite well though there have been a few small problems(personal experience).
Overall i strongly recommend this game to anyone looking for a game that they can keep coming back to again and again.

a good semi-freeworld game, it has a good storyline that seems to tie into the prewritten storyline fairly well. the combat controls and just the way it is done is very good as well, even if i have some little annoyances with how many times you need to knock an uruk down before he just dies when you hit him. i highly recomend it! :)

though it is fairly complicated and really makes you work for improvement, once you understand the basics of how to improve a ship or create the items to improve a ship the game becomes really fun.

really fun game, puts you into 2 roles. liked the vampires cause even though they have all the powers the humans can still win if they work as a team.

great game but it does take some time to get used to the different classes and the best way to use them, the bowman especialy takes some practice
