"Here's your gigantic sword that you can do 4 different attacks with. No, you can't block. What do you think this is, an RPG?"

I underestimated this game, thinking it's a bogstandard RPG that is carried by its presentation. It wasn't until I unlocked a feature I would consider essential by progressing a sidequest chain that I "got" this game.
Persona 5 starts great and gets better over time. I was immediately sold on the franchise and I am going to play the rest of the series as they become available to me as a PC player.

Seems really fun to play, unfortunately the monetization is insane. A bundle of a pilot model and a reskin of an existing mech costs $50. I would advise you to stay away from this game if you have compulsive issues.

This is a review of the playtest, not the final version of the game. It offers satisfying, fast-paced combat that still feels very methodical. The core foundation of Vindictus D.F. is amazing and I really hope they iron out the things that I personally dislike about the game.

-I don't like that your followers don't become significantly stronger by your progression. For example they cannot use their unique abilities even if you purchase them for them.
-I don't like that weapons are cosmetic and "crafting a weapon" means enhancing your character stats. Personally I would prefer if the weapons were capped at a certain enhancement tier and if you equipped a weaker sword, despite having 6 enhancements in your character you only deal the damage of 3 enhancements.
-I hope that the character motion becomes adjustable. I understand that certain players like excessive jiggling but I am not a big fan of the overexaggerated look.
-I would appreciate if you could craft armor the same way you could craft weapons, and enhance your character's defensive stats through equipment too, and not just through levelling.
-Please do not add a battle pass to the final game. This is not the title to become many peoples' "forever game" and it will hurt the game if you try to monetize it via FOMO.

Fahkumram is the single worst choice they could have made for this season.

If someone gives this a thumbs down due to bugs, check if they gave Skyrim a thumbs up.

A game so mechanically shallow and unsatisfying that winning effortlessly frustrates people to the point of crying.

Payday 3 released, and arguably still is, in unofficial early access. It had a pitifully small amount of content at launch, and 3 out of the 4 Heists that were added as free updates are repeats of Heists from Payday 2.
The developers are working on fleshing out the game as well as they can, but it's a slow process. The solo mode that lets you host a game locally is still in its "beta stage", and the "Armor 2.0" feature that was announced over half a year ago is only now about to be released.

But the gameplay is fun, and a refreshing step back from the over-the-top clownshow that was Payday 2. The stealth and gunplay is considerably better, new systems like the overhauled skill system that works more like a "skill loadout" than a skill tree work much better, and features like being able to delay assault waves by trading hostages, or freeing them in return for helpful resources, felt like second nature from the first minute of gameplay.

$30 is a fair asking price in my opinion.

Guild Wars 2 is an MMORPG for people who don't like MMOs. It bucks the common trends that reduce these games to treadmills, such as the ever-increasing maximum level or gear score. A max level character with top-of-the-line equipment from 2014 remains the same today without changing a thing. This might make this game not resonate with people who like MMOs for those aspects. I encourage you to try it regardless.
