A totally unique and immensely deep puzzle game. Honestly unmatched in terms of mechanics and depth; there is never "one solution" for a puzzle. Absolutely recommended.

This program helped smooth out the temperature/fan curve on my EVGA GTX 980, runs cooler and quieter now.

Dead simple to use, small filesize, and has options to start on boot (already better than SpeedFan in that regard). Solid software.

Early Access Review
One of the few Kickstarted games that lives up to the hype, meets literally every single one of its stated goals, and is actually a fun game.

There's a ridiculous amount of depth in RimWorld: shooting people hits body parts, body parts can get scarred and infected, a dirty hospital increases the chance of diesease and infection plaguing your colony. A colonist dies because of a weakened immune system from old age, and then their daughter goes berserk and punches someone else.

RimWorld is one of the Dwarf Fortress-like games that can actually match the depth in mechanics, but presents gameplay in a much cleaner art style and has a straightforward UI.

For those worried about the amount of content: there's a metric ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of mods. Mods as far as the eye can see, and the game is really easy to mod.

Early Access Review
Can't reccommend as someone who played Killing Floor 1 to death. Even though the game is visually pretty and a massive step up graphically from KF1, it's a pretty big step down in terms of the variety of weapons you can use, and a lot of perk trees are STILL missing.

Sequels should be the original plus more from the beginning, and I don't think the early access model works at all for Killing Floor 2. Development has shown to be way too slow for early access, and I think they really just have just released it when it was finished.

Two major negatives:
1) Doesn't run on multi-monitor setups, you'll have to disable your other monitors. It just flickers between resolutions if you have more than one.
2) No options at all. You can't adjust resolution or lower the (very loud) volume.

This game has been out for ages and they never bothered to fix either of these.

This is seriously my favorite game of all time, and one of the best base-builders I've ever played.

The theme is great and really fitting, and very reminiscent of a lot of super-villain based movies. The diversity of your minions is also awesome (in terms of minions, you've got the smart, the social, and the strong). The mechanics are really simplistic in a lot of ways but feel really deep - like the stats system in the game. It all works out to really reduce the amount of micro-management you typically have to do in a base-building game.

The AI is something special in EG. In a lot of games, the AI just sort of knows where everything is and just rushes your face until either they're dead or you're dead. In EG, enemy agents that come to your island have literally no idea where anything is, where and traps are or anything at all really. They have to explore your island themselves, and they'll do their best to spot out any obvious traps you leave for them and break into every area they think is suspicious. It's also cool to sometimes see your own minions patrol around the base on their own when they're bored and have nothing else to do, taking the occasional smoke break (usually in the freezer, no idea why).

EG's an amazing game, and I really wish they'd make a sequel instead of Facebook games and stuff. Maybe one day, but for now this is a great pick-up. It goes on sale all the time, and it's an absolute bargin for $2.50 when it's -75% off. Buy it.

It's Civ 4 without the whole "stack 30 units on one tile and wreck a city in one turn" dealio.

Tons of hours, blast in single and multiplayer. The expansions are excellent, too.

Fun with friends, but still pretty rough around the edges.
