I wanted to play chess, not some weird fictional chess thing. If the opening gave you.... chess pieces that would be great but you get a fictional piece instead and nothing else. Really annoying. Controls are pretty bad too, really floaty.

Genuinely compelling game, extremely good. I just have one major issue revolving around glass bottles.

TL:DR. Get bottles and fill them with only water unless you want to lose them.

If you fill a bottle with ANYTHING ELSE the whole glass bottle is used too and will not give you the original empty bottle. It's insane! I lost 30 bottles making tinctures that I really didn't need, just because I thought "Oh, when I use these on myself I'll get an empty bottle back."

NOPE!

You can't re-use the glass and you don't even get a dead item.

ALSO I have not seen ANYONE talk about this, not on a wiki or forum or anywhere. Did this make sense to all of you that pouring out blood is fine for some reason but pouring over roots will consume your bottle?

In addition you cant buy bottles anywhere! You have to find them, IN THE TRASH! WHY? That makes no sense! Why would anyone throw away that much glassware? Why can't I buy bottles in a store for some insanely over inflated price? I could do that! You can even trade for a cure to the disease, you know, THE DISEASE, but not glass bottles.

It's easier to get someone's kidney than it is to get water bottles in this game.

If someone has a mod that undoes this nonsense please tell me in the comments below. I'm gonna restart my playthrough and try not to kill myself with coffee beans again.

Great game. Good story. Easy to grind.

I just wish there was a jump button.

I love the concept but this game is unfinished, overpriced, and there have not been any new patches for months. It seems like abandonware which is a little heartbreaking.
