Enjoyable farming sandbox. Claims to be casual, but its surprisingly fast pace with a fair amount of resource and energy management. If youre looking for something genuinely relaxing, I recommend a few mods to adjust the speed and regen so you have time to do everything you want in a day.

Massive and continuous DLC creep, new player unfriendly. Strongly don't recommend unless you know what you're getting into. Its fun after the 100th hour and if you know what youre doing.

Best-in-the-genre isometric arena shooter/beat'm up. Controls and gameplay are fun, good music, okay story. Only official Madness Combat game. I've had this game since Alpha, and its came a very, very long way.

Best zombie survival sim out there. Get scared by the jumpscare noise more than the actual zombies. Get mauled to death when you accidentally open the wrong door at a pizzeria. Take the proper precautions and pad up your armor to get a bite in the groin anyways and die a week later. In all seriousness, this game is fun and it has a steep learning and difficulty curve, but it plateaus when you learn and master its mechanics and you get good at fighting hordes of zombies. Great base game with a lot of good mods to choose from. Great with friends.

The core concept and gameplay of this game is fine, and sometimes even enjoyable in the right circumstances. However, the game suffers greatly from continuous DLC and content creep. The game has poor balance management and desperately needs a casual mode and maybe some new game modes. The Dev team also takes months, if not years, to fix problems and update older content.

2D Platformer, melee Metroidvania. This game is beautiful and one of my all time favorite games. This game has fluid controls, fantastic boss fights, amazing music, sound, art, character, and level design. And to top it off, it actually has a really good story. A masterwork of a game worth more than its asking price. I strongly recommend playing through this game blind with no walkthrus.
