I reviewed this a hot second ago, and I'm changing it now. Originally, I saw the potential, now I still do, but it's markedly improved. The dev reached out to me and asked for feedback, and I appreciate his efforts to make this better. He's a hard worker, and if you check out the software, it's much cooler and easy to use. I would buy this, support the dev and watch this program grow :)

This is an excellent game, however it is not multiplayer. The reason I do not recommend this game is simple: the AI is brain damaged. There's not challenge that the AI can provide that the Human wouldn't be better at. This is a mechanically and strategically an excellent game, but don't buy it if it's not multiplayer. It should be, and the devs know this.

I hate that it's so hard to get working, but it still works. Eleven years after the fact, if you register your game on EA's website, login twice and then run in admin mode on Windows, you too can play CnC4. That's all it takes.

For the game itself, it's ok. If it wasn't a legacy game, I'd say it's a solid 6.5/10. If you liked this game on release, something was wrong with you. But if you like the nostalgia, and the $4 price tag, it's a good game.

So I just bought this, and it started up ok. However I had problems importing my media into the project, a very basic task, where it told me it didn't have an internet connection and couldn't continue. I'm no longer interested in being a customer, and will now be refunding this software. Although it pains me to say it, I think you either have to go low end or high end, not mid-tier. Whatever you classify VEGAS as, it's just not functional.

This game before the super hyped 2.0 update was really good, my friends and I played a ton of it. However, after the game updated, it seems to be abandoned by the devs. The updates mad it strictly worse, and I'm very disappointed. Even after numerous patches, numerous hotfixes, it doesn't matter, as the game is now a dumpsterfire of gamebreaking bugs.

There is no rollback function, and no reason to get this game.

It was pretty buggy. I have a good system that runs pretty much anything, but it wouldn't run PUBG. I returned this game, maybe I'll buy it again if it becomes workable.

I enjoyed this game, but I really detest the studio for illegally filing false DMCA claims against streamers. I'll change this review when they stop doing so.

I love Stronghold Crusader, it's a really awesome game and it's very enjoyable. I still play it with my friends, it's really awesome. I was excited for Stronghold Crusader II, updated graphics would be awesome, maybe some more complicated mechanics and new units would be an improvement. But this game takes several steps back from it's predecessor. It doesn't have the same UI tools, such as flattening buildings into a floorplan format for building castles, and rotating builds is increbily clunky. The game has been blakanized into 5 DLC packs, where even your choice in icons is limited if you don't buy all of them. For me personally, I wouldn't buy this game until they seriously patch is and sell all the DLC bundled in one edition for about $30. I already paid way too much for it.

If you ever played Pocket Tanks when you were young, this is basically that with slightly different mechanics. It's a solid game, I don't like the leveling up aspects but it's not game breaking.
