alpha supporter. hate the fact that i paid so much for the game and now have to pay for more dlc. these ♥♥♥♥♥ have made so much money from this and days, s standing for slow and s.hi.t. poor optimisation. need a super computer to run it. many bugs and slow as ui.

its good ♥♥♥♥, main story missions go a bit quick. Though there is alot of side missions.

One of my favorite games ever. so cheap. so many depth so much wows. so much to do. five years on still adding new content. great developers 10/10 would buy a game of theirs again. still good.

FPS still ♥♥♥♥? why is the game so grainy? why on high settings do zombies still have just a black texture from far away?

they added aus servers back.

maps is disgusting. how can you even feel like its real when everywhere you look you have got these massive fkn sheds? there not bases they look like big metal sheds to hoard all the cars in. legit no one builds one foundation bases. imo ppl should not be able to join foundation after foundation. 2 max and then a 50 meter cirlce around where no one can build. its ridiculas. these massive sheds drop fps. they cause people to just sit in there base a snipe. bases are now fkn indestructable. new players are going to never get anywhere. people just kill you on site even though you try to talk to them. the game is not what it was in the first period. i played 300 hours and didnt look like i was going to stop. then the hackers came, their still here btw. ♥♥♥♥ ugly map. the only updates have been cases and petty ♥♥♥♥. MASSIVE FKN METAL SHEDS EVERYWHERE> PPL JUST HIDE INTHEM AND SNIPE.

STA was well worth the 49 cents i payed. i got a solid 8 hours out of it.

I would like to say this game is good but i cant. The art and idea is great but really i didnt get to experience much of deadly 30 as there are many design flaws still not adressed nor do i expect they ever will be.

The three major problems are:

1- low fps studders droping from 30 fps down to 10 every 3 seconds making it unplayable for me and many others on the discussion forums (these fps studders did not happen when i first baught the game).

2 - No 1600x900 resolustion? and windowed is tiny as.

3 - steam achievments are almost impossible to get as the system works like no other game. An example is kill 2000 zombies or collect 50 000 metal. To get this you must do that in one play through, you cant leave and save as it resets the achiements even though your game saves from the day you were up to. ??

Overall not worth the money until they fix the fps and steam achievment problems, untill then its just sitting in my library f****** up my achievment progress percentages.

gunna have to suck in a whole ciggy in afer playing deadly 30, definetly no ex-haling on this one.

Commandos the year 1999 i was 9, finding commandos behind enemy lines in an eletroniques boutique catalouge. It was known as electronics boutique back then not EB. My dreams had come true, an army based isometric view game with a lot of detail! i played over and over again also its expansion beyond the call of duty. i played these games religiously untill men of courage came out in 2002. Pre orderd from electronics boutique and was not disapointed built heavily on a great game, added heaps of new content and built a whole new 3d engine which proved to be beautiful. this game isnt for people who want an easy run, its highly stratigic and very frustrating sometimes, however that makes it so very addictive. You definetly must keep quick saving or u will rage. great graphics, alot of levels, doesnt have the bugs newer games have, pyro studios being one of my favorate of all time. this is one of those games that i will never forget i will come back and play again and again. there is secrets and stuff like that too which will grant u extra levels to play on. overall one of the best militry strategy games out there. you grow to love the characters as well. dont believe all the hate about it not working just because they cant get it working. for this price its worth the shot. i have win7 64bit runs beautiful never had an issue with this game on any computer ive owned

alright so i'm going to change my review as it is now my fav game again.

ftr my first review was no.

Initial launch was bad first few years were bad.

Now it seems the devs are very interested in dayz again $$$.

We have had lots of big updates, lots of bugs squashed and the game runs very good now. Lots of content added and now it feels like the game it should have a few years ago.

so if you were turned off by the state of affairs with dayz in the past i would certainly recommend coming back or trying now.

This is the best the games ever been and i cant stop playing.

Ive built, ive killed, ive raided, ive looted, ive stolen and ive raised 4 children. We now have family and soon a compound to live.

If your in the oce as i am, try the dayzdownunder vanilla server.
