When you look at this game, then look at Planet Coaster, and now to the upcoming Planet Zoo, you have to ask yourself one thing.

What happened between Coaster to Zoo that lead to this game being so dull and uninteresting.

Its basically a park of robots that just don't do anything really but walk around, roar, eat, and that's it.

The AI is abysmal. Prey Dinosaurs just stand there while a fixed animation leads them to certain death.

Even in Jurassic Park Operation Genesis, prey animals RAN AWAY.

Don't get me started on the guests. They are just sprites with NO AI and NO AWARENESS.



This game was supposed to be great, the trailers teased a lot of things.


They lied about damn near everything...

I uninstalled the game and the launcher still updates and puts ♥♥♥♥ on my PC. Don't download this garbage.

Honestly, I used to love this game to death and played it conatcntly with my friends, but I cannot recdomend it anymore. There are vastly superior Battle Royale Games out there that dont have you waiyting an eternity to start a new game and wait for it to launch in the lobby.

In the gaming industry, its adapt ot die. after a while of sucess, PUBG decided to die. The Devs are out of touch and they wont fix their issues, hackers are all over the place despite them saying they "banned" them.

Its just not a fun or enjoyable game anymore. When you die it just feels frusterating because it takes way too long to hop into a fresh new game.



Used to be a 7/10 for me, now its a 4/10.

Going after single player mods? Do you want a pitchfork protest? Because thats how you get a pitchfork protest. Glad to see the game reviews are getting crucifed.

This is one of the few games I will give a 9.5/10. This game is amazing. The writing narritive is everything I expect from Obsidian, makers of Fallout 1, Fallout 2 (when they were known as Black Isle Studios) and Fallout: New Vegas. Also Pillars of Eternity, which I have sadly not yet had the pleasure of playing. There are so many routes for you to take during the story and every action has a consequence attached to it. Wether you see it as a good or bad one is up to you completley. This game lets you have so much control of the story its not even funny.


Seriously, pick it up. It is a fantastic game and you wont regret picking it up.

The only downside is the sparratic voice acting. Sometimes the game will audibly narrate what characters are saying, and its amazing voice acting, dont egt me wrong. then the next bit it will be completley silent. Weird. Not a game breaker. but still weird.

This game is a beautiful work of art and really captures the raw badassery of the 40k universe when it comes to naval warfare. Hoenstly I was surprised on how well it runs and how georgous it is. The only bad thing I will say about it is that the load times are a tad too long, but overall it is an amazing game and totally worth the full price, but doubly so if its on sale.

I give it an honest 8.8/10

Edit: as of 10/12/20 This is one of my favorite games of all time. The previous review aged like milk.

I have really high hopes for this game. Its been to long sonce a good Dinosaur hunting game. I think Carnivores was the last series thatw as damn good.

But remember THIS IS EARLY ACCESS. ITS NOT ANYWHERE NEAR FINISHED.

There are only 3 species of dinosaurs as of now, but Im sure they will add more.

The sounds are amazing, and for an early access game, it looks stunning.

I saw a Tyrannosaur walking in teh distance, and its model flowed smoothly. I enjoyed seeing it.

I kinda wish the Carnivores would go after the Herbivores. Would make it a bit more realistic.


Over all, I enjoy this game and I hope it gets the updates it needs to become the spiritual sucessor to Carnovores.

Only real reason to get this is to play online when the axe comes down on Dawn of War 2 when GFWL gets killed. Oh. And the Death Korps of Krieg. Thats another valid reason.
