Great game, I love it, but yeah it's got flaws.
The free weekend breathed some fresh air into it because the player base seems to have been weak.
I don't know yet if players will stick around, but I hope they will.

Flaws:
You need to complete challenges get new gear? Weird.
All the cosmetics are way too expensive.
Battles often get chaotic so enemy players spawn behind your lines.
The new map is cool in it's own way but really short, it's the shortest map so far and not even attached to a Campaign like the other maps.
Only having 24 players per team feels sometimes sometimes too few to hold a long front line.
There are always 2 objectives so you end up fighting over one until your entire team switches to fight over the other.
I've heard of cheaters but have not experienced anything yet.

Those were the things that came to mind that I could complain about.
But I love ordering an Artillery Barrage up a mountain and telling my friends to charge a machine gun nest.

Deeply disappointing game.
Every mission and enemy faction is the same but with a different color of paint.
The only effective way to win missions is to wait out the clock because attacking the enemy is ramming your head against a brick wall over and over until you win, unless the game bugs out and you anyway have to wait out the clock. Just get Mount and Blade Warband, at least that game lets you move around quickly and allows for basic tactics.

11/10 this is the gift that keeps on giving.

This game is bare bones. Buy it on a discount.
Here are all my tiny criticisms of the game:
There is no Multiplayer Campaign. The Ai Cheats big time.
Provinces don't remember previous battles so you restart with same objectives.
No commander voice acting in Story Battles, just text bubbles.
Graphics are bad, zoom in and they look worse than Imperial Glory.
But somehow it's still poorly optimised.
Also why such a weird focus on the British?
The British get Artillery, Tanks, Airplanes, Austrialians, Canadians, Indians,
Why only one unit type for French and Belgian in all of France?
I've also seen comments on the French VA and translations being bad.
Weird Logistics system so you can't build big Trenches.
You can't use a lot of Arillery because one bombardment
costs more currency than 225 soldiers)
Also airplanes are overpowered by killing 225 soldiers in 2 sec.
Why is there no recon plane???

Yeah wait until some expansion or big update before picking this one up.

The prologue was, AMAZING!
PLEASE LET ME PLAY MORE!

It is a little bare bones but I was having so much fun the entire time.

I found this game repetitive and boring. Every nation, even modded nations. All blend together in a form of fake democracy, every country use the same 1v1 or 1v2 Party system. The game is way to easy, no matter what difficulty you play on and how Good/Evil you are as you will always get 90-99% of the vote as you waste your time clicking away at random policies with absolutely no pushback. Want to make Universal Healthcare in the US? Done. Want to Ban Private Ownership of Guns while you're at it? Done. What do you do when you're deeply in dept and are going through a crisis? Just spend more money and over time the problem with magically solve itself.

To Summerize my personal opinion:
The Game is too easy
The Game does not simulate a real Democracy.
The Game is too repetitive with no variety in gameplay.

Unintentionally had a perfect reformist run my first time playing the game.
Accidentally agitated my enemies at the UN meeting, their queen called me on the phone the last turn of the game and asked for 2 towns or war. At least I got the "Hail to the Queen" achievement.
10/10 wish the game wasn't Ironman mode after you finish the game for the first time.

10/10 Best Game of 2020 until Hollow Knight Silksong comes out.

There is a lot I can say about this game but to put it simply, it's a good game. Close to being great with some flaws in design here and there but the studio creating this seem truly passionate about this project and I think given some time and funding they can make something truly great.

If you want a Vietnam aesthetic buy Radio Commander but if you want better gameplay and story telling get Radio General. As of this review RG is on sale and there for even cheaper, if you are interested in voice commanded RTS games this is a must have.

Great Game, I personally loved the idea of XCOM but could never get into those types of Games. This is now one of my favorite Warhammer Games ever made. If you're still thinking if you should buy this game or not just search on youtube "Warhammer 40,000 Mechanicus Soundtrack - 10. Noosphere" and while listening to it look at the purchase button until you decide.
