Very obviously designed for multiplayer and maybe quite fun if played that way, but single player can be extremely frustrating because friendly AI has about a tenth of the brain activity of your average servitor and enemy AI will happily ignore them to focus on the player at any opportunity. Only buy if you have a squad of buddies to play with or if your idea of fun is evading attacks from 2 zoanthropes, 3 warriors, 6 termagants and 12 hormagaunts while an NPC screams in your ear about objectives and your squadmates stand around extracting each other's gene-seed.

Also, always online campaign is dumb and the game demands an Epic account.

For some insane reason the devs decided this game was ready for launch despite core mechanics like gunnery (accuracy and penetration) being broken and a flurry of hotfixes that supposedly fixed them, did nothing or made things worse. So the ship designer is functional if limited but the battles are nonsensical and the campaign is riddled with missing or poorly implemented features. Save your money.

Just looking for another Musou game? Not a lot of variety in characters and weapons plus lack of CAW means you probably want to pass this one up
Finally want a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Berserk game? This covers the majority of the plot, delivers all the blood & Guts you'd expect and it runs smooth to boot. Highly recommended, just make sure you have a pad at hand.
