First Impressions:

I had fun playing this game. Do not take all the negative reviews for face value as most every single one I see has played the game for less than an hour. Apparently only a little more than half the player base has the achievement to complete a single match. I get that it is not the glorified game people wanted when it was announced at the game awards, but it is fun. AND IT IS FREE. You don't have to pay a DIME to play the game. I had 0 issues with optimization or disconnecting me from servers. Take some time to understand how each character works, understand how each weapon works, and just go from there. I do recommend jumping in with friends as most the gaming community in general does not like to communicate in game, it goes a lot better with a group due to that. The game looks good, and movement and gunplay feels good. I will happily adjust this review when I find a reason to not recommend.

For years, EA has shown time and time again how NOT to make and keep a game alive. I think the last EA game I enjoyed was Titanfall 2. Until now. BF6 feels so good. It looks so good. It is in no way a perfect game, but it is so so so good. Do note, I have yet to play the campaign. Many people I know have enjoyed it, and only note anyone has had is that the voice acting for the protagonist just sounded too gritty. I had no opinion against it.

Multiplayer CONS:

-Headshot multiplier is not really effective. Amount of bullets to kill doesn't change.
- Add multiplayer VOIP lmao
- I think the gun menu for locating new attachments that have been unlocked could be more flushed out and easier to navigate.
- Larger maps would be nice to see, there are less maps with jets available and I am a sucker for dog fights.
- A small con, but I just hate closing out ad tabs about new shop items and battlepass items. I just want to boot up the game and que in.

REDSEC CONS:
- Respawns not being reusable sucks in my opinion. I would like to be able to bring back my friends mid game even as the free respawn goes by fast. That or give an option for some missions to spawn in downed allies or even some type of mobile respawn item.
- Instant death on being downed repeatedly hurts. In a standard multiplayer, I understand the concept. While in a BR it should at least just down us again if we are shot instantly after being picked back up. I would be fine with a faster bleed out mechanic to replace this feature.

REDSEC PROS:
- A new kind of BR
- Allows easy progression to match other squads by just completing side missions instead of taking fights all the time.
- The map is very diverse and easily able to be maneuvered.
- Vehicles are plentiful and tanks are not.
- Decent loot variety
- Fights can be either fast paced or very long. All depends on how you approach it.
- The ring is by far the coolest and most intimidating out of any I have ever seen. Very great design and mechanic choice.

Multiplayer PROS:
- You can lose the match, and still have a LOT of fun. I haven't had a game I lost that wasn't enjoyable to some extent.
- Vehicle gameplay is a lot of fun once you get the hang of it. Take advantage of training maps and lobbies.
- Gunplay is phenomenal and TTK is not too fast or too slow.
- Sound design is peak and don't even get me started on the Wartapes setting!
- Classes feel needed every match. You cant just win off gunfights. I can have 0 kills as a medic and have a game of a lifetime saving lives.
- Each game feels cinematic. Never a dull moment when I am really into the game.
- Relaxed. The game can also be very chill at times. When I don't want a million explosions around me, I can back off and still make a difference in the game while chilling at my desk having conversations with the boys.
- Every player matters. You have to play as a squad to make decisions to win the game and no matter your skill level, you can make a difference.
- IT FEELS LIKE BATTLEFIELD. Thank you for actually creating what we remember and still making it NEW.

There are many reviews I see hating on the game for the price tag and battlepass. All I can say is, nobody is putting a gun to your head to buy the battlepass. They have been in so many games and BF6 is not the first. Sounds like you are just bad with money. I expected prices of video games to go up, as everything else has in life. A $10 difference is a crazy thing to cry about IMO. Maybe stop buying ZYNS or Vapes or whatever you waste money on each month. You can play this game, grind it out and still unlock items and skins to customize whatever you feel. I Don't have the time to grind like I used to, but I have had a lot of fun with the game. Whether EA makes good or bad business decisions in the future is to be determined. I just hope they keep this game alive and pump more content as we go. I don't mind tossing a few extra bucks to get more maps either like the old days of paying for DLCs before battlepasses. I can't wait to keep playing this game after a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ day at work.

9/10 - Thanks <3

Absolutely my all time favorite game series. Campaigns are beautiful and multiplayer is casual and fun.
