this game straight up does not work. having to download a vpn to connect to the servers is laughable and turning off your windows security is a terrible idea, and if you don't know why you deserve what comes to you. spectating doesn't work and respawning after a round doesn't work half the time, just a cyan screen, or maybe you get trapped in the weapon buy screen. this game is made for people who scroll tiktok for 7 hours with all the screen effects and bright funny colors. do not play this game. im convinced the positive reviews are bought.

im impressed i made it to level 98 before quitting.
at least i can finish the msq with the new returners campaign!

no role queue is extremely frustrating.

super good. game is very pretty and fun however (likely skill issue) getting oneshot by mobs on hard is frustrating and annoying.

early access killed any hype this game would have had.

is what i thought a few days ago. this game is severely lacking in any meaningful polish that would otherwise make it standout among other games (HELLDIVERS 2)
seriously, i have no idea why there wasn't more done to make this game more of the quality of helldivers. at the moment, bugs don't react to getting shot; you see a hit marker and then eventually the bug dies.
moments before writing this i went up a flight of stairs to get high ground on the bugs. some followed me going up the stairs, the bugs did not tilt to look like they were moving up stairs, they just clipped through the stairs staying perfectly horizontal.

In order to unlock the new content I either need to spend 10 dollars, which at this point you'd need to spend around 70$ to unlock everything released; not to mention the amount of time you'd need to spend to get the currency to unlock the garbage inside of the warbonds. or spend a comical amount of time grinding sc in missions.
i'd really love to play the new update but im not really interested in shooting the same rifle ive been shooting for 60 hours.

I'd rather emulate Metal Gear Solid 4
