Simple and fun game with loads of potential, can't wait to play the more polished versions, and co-op

Amazing strategy game with numerous ways to customize your gameplay, opening fun new avenues to tinker with, backed by a great workshop to add even more spice to the adventure.

This game will never get old.

Finally, after some time in development I feel I can change my opnion of this game. While I still feel there are things that need to be addressed over adding more DLC, I have to say that the development has come a long way since I last reviewed this game. I do look forward to seeing this games full potential unlocked

While I tend to agree with most people about the release of this extra content and the cost of it...you can simply wait for it to go on sale. This isn't like other games such as Hitman, where you have to buy these extended packages and only get content every couple months. We both know people have spent far more than this on workshopp items for crappy CS:Go.

What this content does is adds a fantastic new map and many new dinos, I personally feel it added more difficulty and complexity to the game, having to deal with the elements more than just being a bit cold or wet. Now you have to deal with extreme heat, animals that don't really have a biome they stick to, sand storms, using the wind for energy, dragons (come on!), building a house that can literally cook you alive if you don't use proper materials and finding a good place to build it while taking everything else into account and being close enough to water to survive.

This is still a great game and this dlc adds more to it, you can still play ARK perfectly fine without it, there are other maps to use so complaining about the cost is rather silly as it changes nothing about the game and adds nothing to the base game itself.

I have played this game since it's release, it was the game that got me into my massive love for gaming. Joined a 'Clan' as they were called back in the day on MSN's Gaming Zone and never looked back. I have had this game on every computer I have ever owned since it's release and have never been happier with it since they decided to remake and remaster it. Fell in love with it all over again and enjoy bringing old friends back into playing it together (sadly through a third party program which doesn't let steam track the game time).

As much as I love this series, and playing it again was a welcomed treat, I absolutely regret buying this...the buggy play, crashes and having to wait (weeks, if not more) to play one more mission (then wait some more) or just play the same one again and again is killing my love for the series and square enix.

WE ARE THE MACE MEN!

Amazingly adictive.
