I'm having a great time with the game despite being someone who usually avoids very difficult titles. I enjoy that its punishing but fair (although it could be more clear about some mechanics since I had to social media/wiki frequently). At 8 hours in, I haven't hit the point where I can feel that this is an Early Access title, everything is quite polished and - most importantly - works as inteded, no major problems so far. I also really, really like the devs open approach to communication with their players. Their posts are extensive but to the point and they get it across very well, they aren't scared to say "we're doing/not doing things like studio/game X has done". It really feels like I'm playing something made by people who enjoy games and like working on their product instead of someone just doing a 9-5 with no passion.

TL;DR: Good game, good devs

I've played this game since the earliest EA release and the game has undergone significant improvements till then. The full release is definetly one of the better entries in the genre and for 5€ its quite a steal.

The new talisman offers a very fun new way to play the game. I like that the class has a strong identity and even some Chimeras that are similar to those available for other talismans still function differently due to their unique starting die. Recommend to just buy it bundled with the base game for new players.

I played a lot during the beta and completed it at highest difficulty with each talisman so I can reliably recommend it
