50$ base game and they already putting too much content behind a dlc

while the game is cool, it has way too few players to actually properly play whenever you feel it.
the price tag definitely does not help in this regard either.
really wish these games would be free and monetise skins as it would have a chance to reach any decent playerbase, instead of our current situation.

Dungeon Defenders 2 gets co-op wrong, it's no longer a party game, but a single player game where 1 guy can play all roles.

While the mechanic of being able to choose 4 heroes to actively swap between in a mission might seem intriguing, it massively dampens the need for other friends to compensate for what your one hero might not do so well, in contrast to how Dungeon Defenders 1 works, where you only get to play as 1 hero at a time, therefore needing friends to help you out.

I did not really like the progression either, but it has been a while since i played so i don't remember the details anymore.
