This game is very enjoyable on its own, but thanks to the steam workshop, you can turn this game into one, or all of the following.

• Space Sims
  
• Terraria, but in space
  
• Survival hell, where everything, and its uncle tries to maim you, all while you try to avenge the Earth.
  
• Space Pimp Sim 2019
  
• Space Prision Tycoon

SimCity (2013) has better railroad, and bus management than this game.



It really feels like the devs stopped caring for this game after they announced Transport Fever, the game itself gets bland after a while.

This is the story of Captain Hank Hill.....
Day 1: U.S.S Strickland crashes into astroid for some reason, I am the only survivor
Day 2: I managed to convert the cargo area of the ship to a smaller ship, I named it the Bobbeh
Day 5: I am running out of fuel and the Bobbeh is starting to smell like fruit pies
Day 7: Managed to run out of fuel and fruit pies
Day 10: I was awoken by a thud as a cargo ship latched on to the Bobbeh
Day 11: My new companion, Captain Dale Gribble, and I see a ship in the horizon
Day 12: The ship is a frigate named the U.S.S.R Charcoal
Day 12: The U.S.S.R Charcoal attacks the cargo ship
Day 12: Dale an I escape the fight in the Bobbeh, the cargo ship is lost
Day 15: We find an small astroid full of resources, we decide to make a home here
Day 17: After setting up an communications relay we finally can watch the Space Cowboys spaceball game
Day 19: Construction on our flagship begins
Day 25: Construction is now %50 complete, we name the ship the U.S.S Propane
Day 28: The U.S.S Propane is now complete and battle ready
Day 30: We decide to pack up an leave pur astroid home
Day 35: U.S.S Propane hailed by the U.S.S Sargeant Barber, it's captain needs our help
Day 36: We meet the U.S.S Sargeant Barber and we decide to merge ships
Day 40: We rename our ship to the U.S.S Ladybird
Day 56: Our new companions, Captain Boomhauer and Sgt. Bill Dauterive, are almost lost as the U.S.S.R Charcoal comes out of nowhere and attacks the U.S.S Ladybird
Day 56: Computer explodes for epic space battle
Day 56: Relizes this I have missed work for 56 days playing this game
Day 56: Find note from Peggy, she has taken Bobby and Ladybird and left me
Day 56: BWAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!
Day 60: Finishes propane powered time machine
Day 1: Remembers events and bans Dale, Bill, Boomhauer, and Thatherton from server
Day 2: Uninstalls Space Engineers for fear that the epic space game may ruin life
Day 3: Go back to work...........
