More fun than most RTS games. The mods really make this game shine and introduces a whole new level or strategy.

Super underground and underappreciated game. If you enjoyed DarkSouls or any of the FromSoftware games and always wanted guns in the mix of the combat loop, this game will be what you're seeking. Guns do take up the meta, there aren't many melee weapons that outperform many guns. But it's still really fun. The entire game is linear but the entire map is modular, meaning that every NG+ is randomized, so finding something specific will be challenging or require a map reset. The AI works surprisingly well with how random the maps are. Lots of cool looking concepts and designs for guns, enemies, armor, and a lot of neat environments and map design layouts that seamlessly flow together given the modular nature of the randomized maps.

Here's what the game suffers from; lighting and overall grim colors, it's like there's an apocalyptic re-shade mod applied on the entire game, it even drowns out the colorful and flashy spells/magic that are in the game, (I understand that the game is set in the aftermath of human extinction and the apocalypse, but still, everything has almost the same color pallet). The art style is like a mix between TF2 and Fortnite and Overwatch, I'm not very fond of those games to begin with. Voice acting during dialogue is alright, but your character's combat dialogue and after-combat dialogue are very repetitive and almost cheesy due to the voice actors effort put into the lines. You'll hear the 3 most common phrases before, during and after every combat encounter, so be prepared to hear the same lines over and over again from your character, (Thankfully the settings are pretty well-made and in-depth so you can turn off voices and subtitles). Guns mostly outperform melee weapons, there is almost no reason to use melee when guns are much superior in almost every encounter. Maybe I haven't played through the game enough but it feels like there isn't much content in the game or much to explore once you beaten it.

Overall, good game, I recommend to buy it on sale but still, a great game.

It took Almost 2 years for the incompetent devs funded by a literal trillion-dollar corporation to get this game at sub-par AAA game standards...

Let that sink in...

ULTIMATE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK: This is a great deal for what you get in this. You pay $40 for 6 games with all their original content. Not only that, you get to customize your installation and choose which titles to have installed. At the time of writing this, all Halo games that are part of the Master Chief Collection have not been released to PC yet, only Reach and Halo CEA have been released. The team behind the MCC are hard at work, conducting Flight Programs, and reading feedback on the Halo Waypoint Forums.

ISSUES: The games available are great but there are some minor issues that don't really affect gameplay (at least in my opinion). Audio in Reach and CEA for weapons are a little muffled but not that noticeable. The biggest issue would have to be the net-coding, more specifically the latency of registrations with damage and headshots. The games have the same net-coding as their originals shipped out, it's the same on the remastered titles.

An issue that the community seems to be making a big deal out of would be the controller vs. mouse & keyboard. I personally don't have a big issue with it, but humans will be humans and complain about the most minor things. To be specific, people feel that the controller has too much aim assist and this makes it difficult for mouse & keyboard players apparently. This in turn creates an issue for casual play and supposedly makes it difficult for mouse & keyboard players to adapt.

STORY: If you want to know how good the single-player experience is, I would recommend to look at the reviews on Metacritic for the original launch titles. I would also recommend to go look at the online video-reviews on the original games, they explain and credit the campaigns really well. In my personal opinion, the single-player experience for all the Halo titles are incredible!

MODS: The mods for the his game are incredible! People are already making RTX mods for CEA and Reach. There are some campaign overhaul mods and the modding community is treating this game right! If you want to have with community-created content, then you're in for a treat!

It's a great game. Although the game didn't work or start on trying to run it. You need to Download Games For Windows Live to make it start. It needs to know your microsoft account to link up with xbox and all that ♥♥♥♥. But once you've gone through all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it works and runs fine. It's super fun to play too!

Early Access Review
It's pretty fun and awesome. I'm very excited to hear about what they'll come out next. The game has been executed very well, but it does lose some gameplay value. All in All it's still a great and badass game!
