This game is absolutely -not- 1.0. You can't finish the first level on your own because you run out of bullets. You can't buy extra magazines. You can't reload. You can't pick up the swords of the crazy people you kill.

You get to play for about 45 seconds at a time until you run out of bullets, and then you watch some psychopath with a katana kill the VIP and it's game over.

Maybe it's better if you run four people deep, but this game is absolutely not effectively playable right now with 1-2 people.

Imagine retroactively requiring PSN integrations -edit- and then TOTALLY REVERSING THEM!

I love everything in this game.

Lightfall definitely has some story telling troubles within the campaign, but the campaign missions themselves were enjoyable. I understand others don't like some of the new characters (or their dialogue), but I can see why they made things the way they are.

Despite these two primary complaints, Lightfall brought some great things:
The campaign missions are fun
Strand is a pretty cool new subclass with new ways to interact with enemies
Awesome quality of life updates with new menus and UIs
The new expansion and seasonal weapons so far seem pretty great (especially the new exotic bow)
Seasonal missions are a lot of fun so far
A lot of curiosity about where the campaign is going (Despite what others may tell you, the story made enough sense, despite not everything being clear)
Great changes to playlists and overall game difficulty

The haters can hate, but at the time of writing, the game is barely 48 hours old. The biggest problems relate to the campaigns writing, but that's such a small fraction of the release. I am willing to bet that in a year's time people will look back and realize what a massive overreaction they had.

Kill 99% of all enemies and die to the last one. Restart, repeat, have a great time.

Love this game. Came to PC 3 months ago and it has helped me improve my mouse game so much. Top-tier game and can't wait to see it when it's fully released.
