I just beat this for the first time today and WHYYYYYYYYYYYY?!?!?!? I NEVER UNDERSTOOD WHY EVERYONE WANTED HALF LIFE 3 BUT HOLY CRAP THIS GAME ENDS IN THE MIDDLE OF A COMPLETELY UNRESOLVED PLOT ARC HOW HAVE YOU PEOPLE LIVED WITH THIS FOR ALL THESE YEARS?!?!? DO NOT PLAY UNTIL HALF LIFE 3 IS RELEASED, SO YOU CAN SPARE YOURSELF THE AGONY OF HAVING TO WAIT!!!! I. NEED. CLOSURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but yeah the gameplay is pretty good too i guess.
playing this is like getting into firefly without knowing it was canceled.
it will capture your heart and crush it like a bug.

the first time i rested an assasin tried to kill me. then i rested to get my health back, so another assasin tried to kill me. this went on for about 7 minutes.

pros:
you can do what you want
when someone boring is talking you can normally just leave.
best freakin rpg ever

cons:
the menu was designed by a duck who had like 3 inventory items
horses are too slow
too much water
