I very rarely review games but honestly i thought this one deserved it. The game is quite fun, for me at least. I didn't get very bored as a lot of turn based combat games are very notorious for, same combat, same animations etc can be very repetitive and boring after a while for these kinds of games. I did however get annoyed at the having to hear the same victory tune and go through that animation for every fight, like if you're clearing slightly lower leveled enemies quickly and having to deal with it every time. Overall I think this game did a lot very well and I do hope another is made after the cliffhanger you are left on.
First off i think the character design is wonderful, while a decent bit of enemies just seem to be reskined, aside from spiders, all these kind of skins are actually pretty unique and enjoyable to look at, the different elementals, assassins, grave robbers etc. are all well designed and pretty fitting with the aesthetic of the game. The main characters I can say the same for, i enjoyed all their design aside from really Garrison as he's just kind of your generic swordsman character but his character development and story makes him differ from those kind of generic swordsman main characters that are rigeous and strong and do everything good. The same goes for the rest of these characters but i specifically wanted to point out Calibretto as well, as his design honestly looks really nice to me and whenever you do his attacks you honestly just feel the power in the way it looks and the animation works, especially on his base attack of Gut Punch, the way he charges up and rears his arm back with a rocket on the elbow to put out a really satisfying animation and feeling. Aside from that lets get to the simple things
Pros:
-Great Soundtrack
-Great story and character development
-Small dialogues and cute banters between characters when resting
-Wonderful voice acting and art design for both cutscenes and gameplay
-A decent bit of grinding for those who enjoy it
-Lots of side bosses and mini events to explore to give replayability of a dungeon
-NG for added replayability
Cons:
-Not a big roster, Only consists of 6 characters
-Soundtrack can be mellow at times, not so fitting with the combat, however still good music
-While the soundtrack is good, it is small, so a decent bit of music you will be hearing quite often
-Not as much exploration given compared to other turnbased games similar
-Can be short if you only do main story with no sort of exploring

I wanted to cut the cons and pros short as I didn't want to nitpick things but rather get big things that people would enjoy to know about. Personally i think this game is great and I enjoyed all the time i put into it, I would enjoy to put more into it however NGs have never been much of a thing for me, however the thought is still nice that it is there for players who do enjoy that. I highly reccomend this game to anyone whos a fan of a turn based game with somewhat dungeon crawly aspects and is looking for an immersive nicely comic book styled story with enjoyable characters.
