I'm a huge fan of Homestuck so I might have some bias in writing this review. However, upon my completion of the game I believe that newcomers who know little to nothing about Homestuck or Hiveswap can enjoy this game. It has an incredibly 90's nostalgic point and click feel to it. The soundtrack is simple but incredible, thanks to James Roach and Toby Fox. The writing is also very good and quirky. Finally I just want to say that the artists did a great job! There is so much detail in all of the areas to explore. I give HIVESWAP: Act 1 a 9/10 since I only wish that it were slightly longer.

At the time of writing this review I have reached 2,500 hours in this game, so it is fair to say that it has become one of my favorite games. With this game the only limit is your imagination.

Everything about this game is incredible. The only problem is that about 90% of the fandom is cancer, however don't let that ruin this work of art for you.
