This game feels the shortest out of all of them because you are with the same people the majority of the game. Still really good, but the rest have heavier punches. This game does have an important role in setting up relationships you have in the following games tho.

This game can feel lower quality then other fighters with nick characters painted on top, which is somewhat true, but the speed of this game, and the rollback and combo potential makes this game an astronomically better online experience then smash. If you don't like the animations or the look of the characters, but still want to play a platform fighter, then get Rivals of Eather.

This game is really slow to start, trying to learn what you are actually doing, but once you get past the 2nd area you start to really get it and you understand how the scroll mechanic works. I like Roguelites, so I am a little biased, but it is just fun all around. Even better with friends and everyone playing different characters (each one designed for different play styles), working off each other's strengths and weaknesses. I would say if you are looking for an action roguelite with Item stacking and scaling, get Risk of Rain 2 first, it will last you longer for about the same price. If you really want a FPS roguelite then yes, get this.
The 1.0 Release did bump up the price a tad, but the new content is definitely worth it.

Unless you intend to play all the campaigns like myself, just buy Reach and 3. Those have the best multiplayer experiences, with the most consistent player-base. I would suggest that you play the campaigns though, even if you played it before. Halo 4 is pretty bad though, 343 was still figuring out how to continue a series that already came to an end (sorta like Disney with Star Wars).

Woof, this game could be great if it wasn't being waterboarded by EA. I miss the days of Titanfall 2

This game is a Horde fighter, and honestly one of the closest things to playing a TTRPG in FP without being overbearing. This game is very fun, and feels like a fantasy Left 4 Dead complete with special enemy types that your teammates need to free you from, teamwork boss monsters, and characters talking sh*t (they call you out for using healing supplies if your health is very low or if you are going ham). I like it quite a bit more then L4D though because I love fantasy settings. Also, I have never played Warhammer, only DnD, but this might get me to try that TTRPG system out.

As a person with a physical disability, being able to win because of tactics over crazy gun skill is a huge plus. I am required to use a controller to play fps's and this is one of the most forgiving games out there for that. The sniper really surprised me, with the slowdown mechanic making my disability barely a variable. The one character I struggle with sometimes is Karl, I wish that the bubble shields had more lee-way when trying to land them on previous operators, because I would say I miss about 80% of the bubbles I try to land on people. I also love that you can play locally or online, with the whole turn-based system, it is really well designed.
I love this game, even with the few hours I have in it I know I am going to be playing this more then any other multiplayer shooter for a while. I might switch between this and Splitgate to challenge myself, but the way this game works keeps me thinking constantly. Good Job Ratloop Team!

I think it is cute, I think it would have been better if there were insect themed skins for all of the operators, something like: Beetle for Deathblow, Spider for Vendetta, Ant for Kapitan, Dragonfly for Rush, Hornet for Striker, Monarch Butterfly for Toxin. IDK, I like the skin, but I wish there was more.
