If you want to play a game where you get to be the physical embodiment of Charlie Sheen on a cocaine bender, this is the game for you.

It's pretty good. It has some flaws which hold it back from being a 10/10 game, but if you like Bethesda games then it's really good. I've been seeing some people say there is no choice or consequence in the quests, but I'm pretty sure this is deliberate misinformation. The characters are fun, this is probably Bethesda's best written game to date, and there is actually a healthy amount of choice and consequence sprinkles through the side quests and the main story. Over all, I recommend the game.

This game reminded me that on rare occasion we can still have nice things. I bought only because it released the day it was announced and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

It's fun, energetic, incredibly charming and I haven't been able to put it down. The rhythm mechanic takes some getting used to but the game does a great job at explaining it and giving you plenty of tools to sync up with the beat.

The humor is actually funny and I usually don't like this style of game. I was prepared for the dialog to be a little corny but it owns it with a confidence I can't help but respect. The game knows what it is and makes no apologies for being that way, and it makes it very enjoyable to watch and be entertained by.

An absolute must buy for anybody even remotely interested in action games or rhythm games.

I refused to play the game for two years based on what the internet told me to believe. I was expecting a buggy, unplayable mess, a terrible story and mediocre gameplay. Imagine my surprise when the game actually turned out to be really good.

The story is great, it's been a while since I've seen writing this good in a Triple A rpg, the dialog felt very natural and easy to listen to, with very little of your typical "cringe" moments you expect in big budget releases now-a-days. There are areas where maybe some changes could have been made, some loose threads I would have liked to seen tied up, but overall I was surprised with how invested I was with these world and characters by the end.

The RPG elements are actually a lot better than I was anticipating. You get a healthy amount of build variety. I focused primarily on hacking and stealth and managed to get through a fair chunk of the game without having to engage in much head on combat, which I appreciated having the option for. I felt to some degree my build opened up pathways and resources others would not have and while maybe the skills could have been more unique, I was fairly satisfied with what we got.

The open world itself is beautiful, it really does feel like a real city and it has an insane amount of visual and environmental variety. Hands down the best city in a Triple A game to date.

I think anyone expecting this to be sci-fi GTA really set themselves up for disappointment. While there is a certain level of responsibility the marketing team has for the games impression on the general public, I think people don't really know CDPR that well if they were expecting much more than what we got. This isn't a bethesda game where you can literally be whoever you want, it isn't intended to be a simulation, you play a character with goals who interacts with other characters in a meaningful way. I think the game does a good job at conveying that.

All in all, if you like action RPGS, this one is a must play. It might not be for everyone but I enjoyed it far more than I was expecting.

It's pretty fun, as far as local coop games go it's chaotic and fast-paced, basically all the things you'd want in any kind of game you're playing with friends.

Supports up to 12 people total which is nice if you have the friends and controllers.

Honestly an ideal game to play if you're having a party, especially a pirate themed one.

Have you ever been brought to tears by something? By realizing that you are the person these people are. The kind of person who hates themself and can only find validation in the misery of others? Play this and understand.

Usually I wouldn't reccomend these games to anyone. But I beat and enjoyed Super Hexagon and Boson X... challenge accepted.
