Buy it on sale. I was pretty efficient to complete the puzzles and paid about 50 cents for 1.5 hours of game. That's enough of a quick time burner to make it worth it to me.

This was my first Steam game. A simple to understand game with a good story based on antagonist comments.

I really wanted to like Magnifico. I grew up playing Risk with friends and family, and even played semi-competitively in online Risk. Magnifico adds a few twists, but not enough to make it a standout. The game is very polished for what exists in the game, but feels disappointingly unfinished. There's no multi-player and the AI is easy to beat once you've figured out it's strategy. I've played and beaten all 4 maps that are included, and while I enjoyed it for the few hours it took to learn the game, there's no continued game after 5 hours here.

I give it 2 out of 5 stars.
