I've always kinda wanted to know what drowning in some deep sea cave would be like (you know, morbid curiosity), its a good thing there is an abundance of caves and drowning in this game, as it turns out i drowned and died in a cave not long after starting my first playthrough, that's pretty much when i realised doing so probably isn't very fun, makes you wonder why that one family drowned and died in a cave for Christmas one year.

Anyway i digress, they definitely managed to make a very enjoyable game based around big fish and the aforementioned caves and drowning. I would certainly recommend this game over going in an actual cave and dying in it.

Other than the performance issues associated with this game (apparently due to the anti piracy software), Deathloop has not disappointed so far.
I was very sceptical at first about how time was going to pass in Deathloop, and how the levels worked, but in practice its actually a lot better than how we all thought it was going to work (open world with a ticking clock).
It is hard to explain how Deathloop actually works but once you understand the gameplay loop its brilliant, and quite unique.

The performance issues seem to vary a lot from person to person, mine's not so bad with a 5700xt, but ive heard people with cards as powerful as a 3090 having quite serious framerate or framepacing issues, which seem to have carried over from dishonored 2. If you can get past these technical issues then it really as a very good game.

Early Access Review
on one hand you could say my review is invalid since i never played even one game, on the other hand i never managed to get into a game because there are not even enough concurrent players for a single match.

Wolfenstein sets up such a world, and its so immersive, the game really managed to make me dislike nazis, and with some of the intense and brutal fights and cutscenes this game contains, it might change your mind too.

You play through the game as a schizophrenic murderer called wolf-enstein, who starts out as a cripple due to a failed murder attempt, after his recovery he is sent to prison for his crimes against humanity, he then breaks out thanks to more murders and shady deals, and then continues with his rampage. As much as i enjoyed playing this game, it really does relieve me to know that wolf-enstein never actually happened, what a tragedy that could have been.

So in doom eternal you prance about as an insane white nationalist killing mortally challenged immigrants that come to his world, and are then met with mass genocide at his hands.

After his bloodlust for killing other races persistes, he travels to their land, kills all the natives, destroys their whole economy, then dooms another non-white race to extinction. There is even an america rocket launcher skin that you can murder mortally challenged with, so they are not even hiding their racism and xenophobia.

Doom eternal is racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, and has really good music, so with all that in mind i give it a 9 out of 10.
