How you Dune?

You will spend hundreds of hours building up a massive fleet, only for them to suicidally charge one by one at the enemy and get killed. The fleet combat AI is absolutely, game-breakingly terrible, and takes this from a 9/10 to a 5/10. They have failed to fix it across 5 patches now, and I can only assume that's because they're incapable. Not only does it make the late-game unplayable, it makes the rest of the game feel pointless in retrospect because the awesome fleet battles which are supposed to reward you for building up turn out to be completely broken. DO NOT BUY until this is fixed, you will literally waste days.

Great for maybe 10-20 hours, but feels like its potential is a little wasted and it could be fun for much longer. You can carry up to 6 weapons, and there are only 21 in the game, so after a few good runs you've seen most of them and things get a bit stale. Also, your character ♥♥♥♥♥ out attacks all over the place from all 6 weapons, making it hard to play around a particular one. At a certain point you just dodge and wait for stuff to die. In my opinion, the game would have 5x the longevity if they just reduced the maximum number of weapons that could be used at once. Still, worth the price.

Great replayability, it reminds me of Geometry Wars but with a deep customisation system.

Deep mechanics, fun and challenging gameplay, it's great. My main complaint is the lack of variability in the early game, but it's early access so I assume that will improve.

Played for 8 minutes and encountered a significant bug - black boxes constantly flickered around my character. There was also no tutorial so I had no idea what to do, and not even any tooltips when mousing over items for some idea of what was going on. I walked up to an enemy right near where I spawned, and it reduced me to 6 health while I did about 10% of its life in damage. I spent a few minutes punching a tree to knock it down, and received some apples which I had to eat one by one every 10 seconds or so when they were off cooldown to restore 20 out of 600 hunger points (which dropped rapidly). This also didn't heal me, so god knows how you do that. Seems terribly buggy and unfinished, don't buy it!
