Bought this version only to say this, cause for some reason i cant leave review on the other one.

This game has aged like fine ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wine.

now i feel awkward cause they responded to my review and added a save function, guess i don't have an excuse to avoid playing this game anymore.

Will change my review to recommend game when i finally play it.

I have no idea what compelled me to buy this game.
It was probably some ancient, indescribable horror from outer space.

And then the game sat there, in my library, waiting...

Then one day i was rummaging through looking for something to play and saw this game.
"♥♥♥♥ it" I thought as i booted up the game which i had long forgotten about.

And then...

I got hooked...

Even my friend got hooked...

Now when i close my eyes all i see is conveyor belts with resources running from processing plant to processing plant to core.

Its too late for me...

Its on sale, buy the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game dumbass.

The gameplay is amazing, but everything else is not.
With the gameplay being this good, i couldnt give 2 ♥♥♥♥♥ about the story, what does piss me off is just how ♥♥♥♥ the multiplayer is, you have to do so much ♥♥♥♥ just so your friend can join you on a story mission.
and the game looks... it looks like ass, never have i seen a game that looks worse with anti-aliasing then without it, but this game is that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. How could they have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ the port up this bad? well atleast its not capped to 30 fps, but even then the optimization is ♥♥♥♥, i have to cap the game to 60 fps to make sure my pc doesnt become a heater, and even then in some areas it does. You think im joking about the heater thing but im absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ not, during winter i would just play this game instead of wearing a sweater.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PORT I HAVE EVER SEEN!

UPDATE: Horizon zero dawn is now the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ console port i have ever seen, this is second place

it could have been shorter, but it still managed to surprise me how well the first half holds up, the second half is kinda ♥♥♥♥ cause it forces you into so much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ combat. And the combat isn't particularly fun when its being shoveled at you like ♥♥♥♥ out of Hurtmaster's mouth, its only really fun in short bursts where you can use the environment to your advantage, which isn't really the case in the later half of the game.

yes, buy this game, its good, but i don't understand the cult-like worshiping status that this game and its prequel have reached.

B-BUT FOR A GAME THATS THIS OLD I WOULD SAY IT AGED PRETTY WELL!

You know, a mummy has also aged well when compared to just a corpse buried in the ground, but at the end of the day its still a corpse.

Buy black mesa remake.

The game lacks actual challenge that forces you to really engage with the game and think over your options and Kojima gives you ALOT of options, sad to see this be so wasted, tho the game is fun.
