Cyber Shadow is a Fast Paced Retro 2D Action Platformer about Shadow who's body was possessed by a life form as well as the surrounding world and you venture on a mission to save your master.

The game offers more than 10 stages full of platforming challenges and secrets, the game uses HP and SP systems which you can use to do different styles of attacks that suit your play style, either pogo your enemies on the head or dash n slice through air.

The gameplay and story was very nice, super solid controls and the retro pixel art style that will bring back great memories.

Music and soundtracks were a big highlight to get back that old nostalgic feeling of retro games, very well composed OST.

The boss fights were challenging yet fun at the same time, you can get outstruck quickly if you're not paying attention, amazing designs and unique strategy to beat each.

If you love 2D Action Platformers especially if you have played a game called "The Messenger", this is a really must play.

Blazing Chrome is a 2D Run 'n Gun Action Platformer where the machines have taken control and you form a resistance team on a mission to restore peace.

The game offers 6 intense stages of Run 'n Gun with enemies swarming you all from sides, just losing focus for a sec can be costly, you will be taking quick decisions and timing reactions to survive each stage challenge.

The retro music and sountracks will definitely take you back to the old childhood days of contra series which is amazing.

The controls and gameplays was super solid, no issues faced, even though this game was made back in 2019, it's a great game until today and you should really give it a go.

The boss battles were intense and requires your quick reactions to dodge the bullets / attacks they are throwing at you.

It's very recommended if you're a fan of Run 'n Gun genre especially those similar to Contra games.

Primal Planet is a nostalgic 2D Metroidvania set in the stone age, however there's a twist, an alien invasion attacks your village and kidnaps your family and you set out on an amazing adventure full of dangers to save your family.

The game offers multiple biomes from oceans to islands to caves, all full of secrets and dangers that you will need to quickly adapt to and survive in the harsh environment. Crating system allows you to prepare many stuff that you take inbetween your journeys which will come in handy later on.

The music and soundtracks were super notch including the dinosaurs sounds to the jungle theme songs which puts a perfect touch for an amazing adventure.

The controls were super solid and the gameplay was flawless, no bugs or issues faced during my playthrough.

Enemy and environment pixel art was super nice it will keep you hooked for hours, this is truly one of the best metroidvanias we received in 2025 so far.

Very Recommended for metroidvania fans. Overall Rating 10/10

Resonant Blade is an Action Adventure Hack n Slash where you go against the uprising of the Dark Synths army and stop their plans to destroy your planet Terra.

The game uses a color switching mechanism with your blade, where you have to match the same color of the enemy infront of you to deal the proper damage. It will require your quick reaction and fast thinking to get out of tight situations like enemy groups swarming against you.

There are lots of puzzles in each screen throughout the biomes you will visit during your missions. the controls play very well except there are few minor bugs but nothing to stop your progress in the game. The dev is working hard non stop at fixing those issues.

The retro soundtracks and music is a nostalgia with the cyberpunk and robots theme. It will give you an enjoyable gaming experience.

The boss fights are super nice and strategic where you will need to use your fast color switching of the blade as well as quick reactions otherwise you can get overwhelmed very quickly.

This is an amazing game made by a solo developer and needs more attention. Recommended for the fans of the genre.

Vessels of Decay is an Action Adventure game with pixel art graphics about two sisters Mud & Freja who venture together in post apocalyptic world.

The game consists of 10 different stages where you get switched between Mud and Freja as the story progress. There are lots of secrets and collectibles in the world for you to discover as well as interesting puzzles to solve in order to progress through each level.

There are also some platforming sections in the world but not heavily focused and can be completed by almost any average platformer players. There is a skill tree where you can upgrade and obtain new abilities and powers from slaying enemies and collecting points from them.

There level designs and structures were very nice, made me really feel the post apocalyptic world. The controls were almost fine, there were few issues here and there but nothing that stopped my progress in my playthrough (Note: Platform played on was PC).

The music and soundtracks were calm and matches the feeling of a lonely dying world. The boss fights were super nice and each required a certain strategy to overcome. The game starts a bit tough but you get stronger as you level up your skill tree.

Recommended Action Adventure game with great pixel art for the fans of the genre. Overall Rating 9/10

Throught the Nightmares is a challenging precision platformer where you play as the sandman and help children from the nightmares controlling them.

The game offers 48+ levels of challenging platforming sections that will test your patience, quick reactions and puzzle solving skills.

There are a total of 3 doors (Biomes) divided into 16 stages each where you will be truly tested.

I was enjoying the music and soundtracks during the platforming challenges as well as it intensifies during boss battles and becomes fun to listen to.

The controls play very well and the animations and other game designs were super flawless, I didn't face any issues or bugs during my playthrough.

This is a very well recommended precision platformer that the fans of the genre are really gonna love.

Awita: Journey of Hope is a 2D Metroidvania where you venture on a quest to find a cure for the plague threatning your village.

The game is pretty nice and the pixel art is amazing, which was the first thing that captivated me when I watched the trailer. Interconnected biomes with different environment elements and different enemy types which you will need to deal with. You can pretty much 2-3 shots an enemy whether by parry attacks or downward attacks.

There are secrets hidden within the world for you to discover as well as some platforming sections spread across the world. Pretty solid mechanics in dodging and striking, you have a stamina bar which you gonna need to becareful with as it can become curcial in battle moments.

The boss fights were fine with me, they weren't challenging much but you will still need to deal with the sudden attacks to stay alive. The soundtracks and music were also nice to listen to during your playthrough.

Recommended short and sweet metroidvania with great pixel art for the genre fans or if you're a big fan of pixel art style.

Lost in Random: The Eternal Die is an Action Roguelite with fast paced combat mechanics where you play as Aleksandra and go in a venture with your companion Fortune the little Die. The world is set inside a black die which you seek to destroy in order to end the nightmare.

The game offers fast paced combat with many different weapon to play to what fits your style from sword to lance to bow to hammer. Dash is crucial to dodge enemy bullets and charging attacks as well as evading traps laid out in the rooms. Each room can be either enemy waves or shops / story lore to challenge games which gives you interesting rewards.

The story immediately caught my attention as well as the voice acting of each of the NPCs you will meet during your playthrough. It's all well made perfectly. The controls were super solid and the game played really well with no problems at all.

The game offers also relic board system where you have to match relics with colors horizontally, vertically or diagonally to get the passive stats from those colors as well as the relic passive itself which will help you during your combat and run.

The music and soundtracks were well composed to give an enjoyable runs and gaming sessions. The boss fights were awesome and challenging at the same time, the game gets easier to handle later on when you start unlocking the passive stats from the skill tree.

This is a very recommended Roguelite similar to Hades, If you haven't played this game yet, now it's a good time to do so.
