I need to start off by saying I adore Destiny with every fiber of my existence.

I've met some of my greatest friends on this game. Made memories I'll have for the rest of my life, had laughs to the point of literal tears, sometimes solo, sometimes crying and struggling to breathe with said friends on Discord.

But even for how much I love Destiny, I hate watching Bungie slowly kill off one of my favorite games of all time. And what's even worse, doing it while being PAINFULLY out of touch with their whole community...

I constantly see Guardians online telling Bungie as a collective community how to make the game better. The player base of this game is passionate, know what they want and the unity I've seen from people who've never met, practically forming a movement all for the sake of making the game better for everyone, is heartwarming.

Yet all this passion falls on surprisingly deaf ears, as Bungie constantly just seems to ignore us. And it's at this point where I need to emphasize that this review is not written because of the game itself. For all it's faults, Destiny is still a great game actually. That will definitely change because the people who are leading it's future are the real issue here though.

That's the point.

I will be honest and to the point to end this off. People don't trust Ubisoft with their IP's these days, but I for one don't trust Bungie with Destiny. Nor the future of the entire franchise at this rate.

Yes, Activation may have once been a problem, but now they're gone and Bungie has nobody else to blame for their errors. They're not only killing this game with their constantly odd and poor company decisions, but stabbing their community in the back. If you ask me, they're giving EA some serious competition.

And not in a good way.
