I started the game expecting it to be on the same quality as the rest of the numbered borderlands games. (those are the only ones i've played) Where the game isn't enticing as the Borderlands 2 or 3. It is unique. That being said I did not enjoy the writing of the main story. It was sort of a long drawn out ending, and then a very weird transition into post game activities. But once I moved onto doing side missions and Ultimate Vault Hunter challenges I started to enjoy the game more. I do think that gearbox may have watered down the game to add to the longevity through DLC stuff that should hve been in the Main release. All in all I do recommend it to fans, who knows when we'll get something better.
