A fairly poorly paced game at the start, but it quickly picks up and delivers the best narrative the Ace Attorney series has to offer. The characters quickly grow on you just like in the original trilogy, and I found myself hating and loving the main prosecutor of the first game very quickly.

Additionally, the music is exceptional, easily the best soundtrack in the entire series. The designs are also excellent, with the 3D models feeling like a genuine improvement over the original 2D artwork of the older games. With flashy camera movements and expressive character actions, every character is a joy to watch and interact with.

This game (or games?) has the best narrative in the entire series, which is something I never thought I’d say given that Trials and Tribulations exists. But this game has shown me that Capcom still has it when it comes to this series, and I am begging them to release a new game.

I highly recommend this game to everyone, even if you aren't a fan of the series.

The best Yakuza game to date and arguably one of the best games of all time. It features a thrilling and satisfying story that rewards long-time fans of the series aswell as delivering one of the single best RPG experience I've ever played. The game also includes some of the most engaging side content in the series, with Animal Crossing and Pokémon-inspired minigames that kept me hooked. Be prepared to spend months of your life immersed in this monumental masterpiece that proves why the yakuza series is one of the best series of all time
