TL;DR: Avowed is a dumpster fire in a digital box. The combat feels like swinging a wet noodle, might as well sit me in front of a PowerPoint presentation, and the story’s about as exciting as watching paint dry. It’s like someone took Pillars of Eternity and hit it with the "What if we made this as boring as possible?" button. This game’s only redeeming quality is how laughably bad it is—like a sad parody of what RPGs could be.
