well what other ww1 game you gonna buy? exactly verdun is the only one and it does a good job at being the only one.

Mortal Kombat X is a very good solid game! The characters are all fun to play with, the controls are not too difficult to grasp and the game is not overwhelming. The story mode is fantastic and not too hard once you know what your doing. The graphics are AMAZING (i run on ultra 1080p) and almost life like. The transitions between cinematics are done perfectly executed and keeps you sucked into the game. The game is very addicting and gives an enjoyable experience. I have been playing it since i was a little lad and was totally worth my $60.
Some cons consist of
1. should be more content for preorder
2. The game has lag spikes and i have a solid gaming computer
3. two player controller has selecting issues
4. MKX mobile and MK pc have a hard time connecting and if you switch factions your f****ed since you can't click anything
5. $$$$ DLC
Overall solid game
