Early Access Review
I've been eagerly anticipating Manor Lords for 3 years, and it has surpassed even my highest expectations. Truly a gem!

Gameplay and Freedom:
Unlike many other titles, Manor Lord does use the typical grid system, so it gives you complete freedom in building placement, even on uneven ground. And the ability to create curved roads that really look like medieval paths makes it super authentic, which is rare in similar games.

On top of that, each decision in city planning feels impactful, it really makes the strategy component interesting and exciting..

Regarding graphics and performance, I play via GeForce Now. It's flawless and I haven't noticed a single bug so far (I was really not expecting that! I can't barely believe it's early access). There is even the option to switch to a first-person view for an immersive experience where I can walk amongst my townsfolk and truly appreciate the beauty of the world I'm building. Can you believe it? In Early Access???!!! It comes with a warning to expect bugs for now and I haven't experienced any!! I'M IN LOVE!!

And there are so many ways to play (military, trade, pure city building), it gives me pleasure on so many level at the same time! It's beautiful, fun to play, exciting and challenging. Everything I want in a game!

The launch price is an absolute steal for the amount of content and polish already present in the game. It's evident that the developer have poured their hearts into creating this gem of a game! It's an art piece!

Big studios should look at Manor Lord for inspiration. It's mechanically innovative, graphically breathtaking, and super fun to play.I highly recommend it to anyone who loves strategic planning and deep, engaging gameplay. It's not just a game, it's a master piece and a revolution in its genra.

All I wanted for Christmas is a rich and satisfying strategic medieval city-building experience, and guess what? It's not even Christmas and I got it anyway!!! Thank you Manor Lord!!

The gameplay is easy to pick up, but the learning curve is steep. The interface is clean and intuitive.
I definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes strategy games or even just medieval history in general!

Huge amount of complaints from MAC users on all community platform about recurrent crash at +/- mid game on MAC (with a $$$ MAC that I use for 8k video editing). No feedback for weeks from Aspire (publisher of the MAC version) who only confirm that they are aware of the problem, invite to send save files, but does not even aknowledge reception of your file when you send them, and give no update on the progress of the resolution. I also see similar problems being reported at every other release. As a MAC use I totally accept that some amazing games are not supported, or have a delayed released, or even a few hard to fix bugs (if it was suuch a big deal for me, I woud switch to Windows) but when so many players buy a game at full price, the least we can expect is respect, and it starts with a proper communication on what's going on, what's blocking the resolution, what they are doing about it, some kind of "thank you for your patience" "thank you for sending us you files" ....

I play city builders since the very first edition of Simcity. This game is the best city builder I have ever played. It offer so many different way to play it. Scenarios, artistic creative aspect of cities, maps and objects, creative UX fun as you can create your own scenario, management challenge Or just building and see your city growing from tiny village to metropolis. I love this game. Not all DLC have the same value, but also don't have the same price and that's why I don't regret having bought them all, especially with the pack discount.
But if you really want to limit your budget, I recommend the Mass Transit and Industry ones.
