Don't accidentally quit the game! Happened a few times when I played it. The game itself was beautiful, but I was always afraid to look at certain arts on the wall. The atmosphere got more and more intense as you go through it, but the twists were definitely worth it. Double twists at the end, to be exact. I am now on a lookout for more games from this group of developers!

Recommend? Definitely. Give it a try!

I came into this game knowing that it was about sick characters and I left caring about those sick characters. It is definitely worth a play through. The 2nd one was the better one and the only I actually cried on. The flow and the characters of that one really gets you. It's hard not to get attached to the characters. The 1st one wass alright, just not as emotionally tugging as the 2nd. It only really followed two characters and their really long car ride.

The images of the game are beautiful, no doubt about that. Although there was at least one that struck me as strange. I'm not sure if describing it would be spoilers, but for someone who just got out of a long hospital stay, their face would not look like that when they get on the bar. Unless she had magic anime muscles, which might explain everything. Just a minor detail though, the art isn't at all bad! (They all look like children too, even the adults. But again, minor detail.)

The music was just great. It really fits with the situations and gives you the feel of this being their moment. I don't know how to describe it, actually. Just know that if I had rewards to give out for best music in visual novels, this game would get all of them.

It has voice acting, if that's what you're into. But I honestly just rushed through that part and played through it silent twice to get the achievements. To me, since i played it silent the first time around, all the characters had their own voice inside my head. The actual voices aren't bad though.

Do I recommend this? Heck yes. Definitely. Play it now.

Played it because quite a few people recommended it and I was not disappointed. The birds might creep some people out, but just focusing on the story itself makes the worth it. Especially the one story that you unlock later on. That one is definitely worth it. It was surprising and I was definitely not expecting it. I'd say more, but you just honestly need it to hit you out of nowhere to feel the full effect of it (although you probably got a faceful of spoilers by this point). You know you got it when, after you start a new game, it asks you about the promise. Go into it once you are done with your normal life and it would just be the best ending to a game such as this.

The fourth one of the East Tower series is honestly the best of the lot, but only if you played the ones before it. The twist in this one is better than the one for Kuon. Kurenai is also the most interesting guy of the series as well, although by the end of it, I wanted to know how it would've ended up with the other guy that you interact with later. I do indeed like the person you can become at the end and I also like the fact that it changes depending on your choices throughout the game. Really, the variety of endings you can get compared to the other three games is great. Which isn't much of a comparison since the other three games really only had two endings. But the ending number here is numerous.

The eighteen dollar price tag for this one is a tad sketchy since the game isn't complete by itself. If it had included the other games of this series, then yes, it isn't a bad price. Do I recommend this? Yes! But try and get it as part of some deal or you would have a hard time feeling like it was worth it.

This is a game that you should play only after playing either Akio or Takashi, the other two games in this series. You can play both to get the "whole" story, but honestly, you won't be missing much if you skipped Akio. After this game, if you are alright with the writing and characters, go on to Kurenai. Is this worth the nine bucks price tag? Only if it came with Akio and/or the Takashi version. By itself, not really. This particular game of the series had an interesting twist, which was surprising. In conclusion, I'd recommend it, sure, but not by itself.

This is the second game of the East Tower series. The only difference with the first one is the guy. As a game by itself, not worth six bucks unless you really want to support the makers of it. Otherwise, it might be easier on your soul to try and get it as part of a bundle with the rest of the series. Honestly, the third and fourth games are the best, but they're only good if you play either this one or Akio, the first game. You can play both the first and this one to get the "whole" story, but it really isn't necessary. The guy for this one is more interesting than the first. I'd say more, but that would be spoiling it. My opinion for this is as the same for the first game: it's an ok game.

I got this as part of a bundle with the rest of the series so I felt like I got the whole story. But by itself, as a game for around five bucks, it was really, really short. The main character was different from the usual otome protagonists, which is nice. Though the "reasons" she had to turn back into a female was really meh and if someone gets suspicious about the writer's core beliefs from that, I can understand why. The male of this game, Akio, was alright, but his backstory could have been expanded/talked about more. It was too abrupt. Anyways, it's an ok game. I don't hate it.

It's pretty short and while there were choices that you can make in the game, the ending is the same regardless. I wish there were more differences in the ending but it is also fine as is. The achievements aren't too hard to earn if that's what you're after. The game itself was decent. I was not fond of Emily, but she felt pretty realistic. The other characters in the game were only mentioned, you cannot interact with them. It is a bit disappointing since there were at least two I wished to know more about. All in all, not bad for a free game.
