The Prologue was fun but its just a demo so its best to get the full game for a better experience honestly. Coop is a lot of fun especially with the unique modes. Very immersive and lots of attention to detail.

Decent so far. Very detailed and unique maps with stories on all of them. The maps are larger than you would expect. Some remind of old school Rainbow Six 3 sized maps. Plays fairly smooth though could use some Sound updates for weapons which I am sure are underway being that its still EA. Looking forward to more maps and some marketing. Played single player and the AI were responsive with some nice positions when they would cover and stack up. Breaching is interesting. I would like to see some options for booby trapped doors/tripwires to disable. With more polish, the attention to detail on this game is very good. More than most games that I've seen from a storyline/detailed map design perspective so far. So it has a lot of potential.

Very fun but needs PVP soon.

Looking forward to seeing more classic vibe kinda shooters. The AI squad mates will hopefully function like Rainbow Six 3 / Rogue Spear.

A few bugs exist at this time, like a type in the UI and no collision on the training map for some boulders and small trees, but I'm sure those will be fixed. UI could use a hover over effect on clickable buttons. Perhaps some more placement blacklist zones for SAM Sites on Seek and Destroy mode. As we noted one of the launcher was on top of a building that you cannot climb on.

Game is awesome! The most hardcore experience you will find besides Arma 3, Six Days in Fallujah etc. Old school Ghost Recon (early 2000's fans) etc. This game and SQUAD 44 are the most immersive games but they are certainly not for the weak. They require teamwork, squad work at least, communication and generally checking the map and knowing where you're at. Find a kit and class you are good at and use it to its fullest. This is not a game for running around like a chicken with its head cut off such as Battlefield or Call of Duty.

Quick update: We are a few weeks into the game now, there have been several patches already by the devs and they are working on the game every week. Lots of bugs fixed and content introduced such as end of round stats and a lot more. Patch notes are on the Discord of regular updates as well as here on Steam.

Early Access Review!

Well, right out of the gate the game gives old school vibes. By old school I mean Rainbow Six, Rainbow Six Rogue Spear, Rainbow Six 3 and Rainbow Six Vegas. With a hint of old school Ghost Recon as well.

Wouldn't you know it, the devs say they are directly inspired by those games. Something that is rare to see in games these days. Most people go for a more Swat 4 (Ready or Not/Zero Hour) kind of vibe instead. Which is great fun too mind you.

So this game already lies somewhere between old school R6, Ghost Recon, Ground Branch, Zero Hour and Ready or Not. If you are a fan of those games you will probably like this game.

Take into consideration that it is EARLY ACCESS with many improvements to come from map details, weapons, loadouts and customization and more. So it can only get better from here.

It has fluid lean posture and also ability to open doors slowly with mouse wheel, or kick them open. The Terrorist AI are actually difficult and don't just stand there all the time like mindless drones.

There is much work to be done, but its already well worth the money to play and enjoy with friends.

As I understand it, PVP will come in the future but the focus right now is COOP and making it better with single player missions and more. You can already host your own listening server in game that people can join or your Steam friends can join privately. Up to 4 players for now but hopefully 8 soon.

So far there are 7 maps already. Each with a unique setting.

Several classes and game modes are available already too such as Hostage Rescue, Bomb Defusal and classic Terrorist Hunt.

I think the game has promise so long as the dev's stick with it and more importantly LISTEN to the community ideas. That's a downfall of many games when devs get out of touch with the playerbases' desires.

I will update this review in a few months with ongoing progress.

Awesome game in the vein of SWAT 4 if you played the classic title which this is based on. For fans of it, but also classic Rainbow Six titles I suppose. But certainly more so on the SWAT side of things which plays differently. Game is coming along nicely. Arma 3 is still one of the greatest and certainly most customizable games in existence. Anyone who calls themselves a tactical gamer should play this at some point. Period. We run a server at http://www.tactical-gaming.net community as well.
