I love Mythforce's cartoon aesthetic. The game is fairly good in single-player, but I can see how it would absolutely shine for couch co-op.

The gameplay itself is smooth as butter, the enemies are challenging and move & feel like they have mass to them. Same with the melee weapons. I'm not sold on the moving from room to room & clearing it, but I guess that's pretty common for action roguelikes.

I know people generally don't play these kind of games for the story, but the actual storyline could use some fleshing out. I'm not sure why I'm fighting all of these minions or where the mushroom folk are coming from.

My only real complaint is no sense of character progression between "episodes". I think Hades spoiled me on that.

All in all, it's a decent action game & I can wait to give it a shot with my kids. 7.5 / 10

I've been playing & enjoying Neverwinter Nights for 20 years. The included campaigns are so-so, but the Aurora toolset is an incredible tool for telling stories.

By far the best iteration of the Civilization franchise.

Exactly what it says on the box. It's a full-on roguelike, not a roguelite. Bump (or double click) to attack & everything is a "resource" ie. away party has HP for the entire bunch instead of being individual members. I hope the dev puts more simulation type features into it to flesh it out more. Not sure I'm sold on oxygen being the "hunger-bar" on away missions, but maybe I can find some gear to raise that limitation so it's not such a buzzkill.

A Caves of Qud-esque auto-explore feature would be very appropriate for this style of game.

In my opinion it's the best post-apoc sci-fi roguelike sandbox in existence.

One of the best RPG's I've ever played. It's like Hunter S. Thompson & William S. Burroughs got together & decided to make a paranormal 70's cop show.

This little game is surprisingly good for an early access roguelike. I can't wait to see where it goes from here.

Good, solid simulation of what life could be like on Mars.

I've been playing RimWorld since the Kickstarter, my hours on Steam aren't indicative of my love of this game.

Quite simply one of the best games, let alone city / colony simulators, ever.
