Highly recommend playing, while still in early access, there is plenty to marvel and enjoy...Its a bit one and done, but the best part is you can always just let it sit for awhile, accrue an update or two, and marvel at the new things thrown at you. Kira did an amazing job with this game, and i highly recommend trying it out.

War thunder is unique in...many ways. Its uniquely NOT as ♥♥♥♥ as World of Tanks, and hasn't hit just blatant P2W like it has...but its still very, very bad. Its a game thats not able to be replicated elsewhere without losing some charm but..it doesn't make it immune to the biggest problem. Gaijin and their absolute hatred for the community. Never have i had a company outright PUNISH players for being upset about a KNOWINGLY bad set of changes to a point where they revert all the changes everyone agreed were GOOD to then try and muddy the waters and pit the community against itself. again, and again. and tell the people who have to pay SO MUCH to get anything meaningful in the game that they are wrong, and that we don't know what we're talking about. again. and again.
Premium Account. Premium Vehicles. Crates with skins/very valuable vehicles in them. Buyable XP with a horrible rate. Event vehicles/1 time vehicles that are stuck to ONLY that and no way to get them until potentially YEARS later within...you guess it...yet another crate.
All that, and the audacity they have to then on top of that continually nerf..and nerf...and nerf rewards so that you HAVE to have both a Premium account and Vehicle in every. single. lineup in the game to make any meaningful progression and get any of the free currency is...apalling to say the least. The review bombing as of late has hit a nerve with them, and i hope it spurs meaningful change in the game and shows that they'll have to actually do a damn thing to keep their moneyhorse running.

7 bucks for 4 new weapons and 2 pretty exceptional characters? Sure Li is 100% getting nerfed in like a week but hey I already got her frame in like 1 run so...

This is going to be 15 bucks? There isn't enough here to justify that. hell ten felt like a bit much...It wasn't bad the worst thing ever but...unless you're paying 10 or below, I don't think its that worth.

Pros: Railgunner is Good.Really good.
-Some of the new areas are cool as hell, but 15 runs and i got two of them.
-Void items are such a cool addition. Some are just straight up upgrades though. Love you Bungus but Wungus is just way more useful on every other character other than Engineer.

Cons: New items and Areas tend to either show up often, or not at all. First 5 runs i didn't get a single new area, and only got one or two of the new items.
-Void changes are terrible. They suck miserably. Void fields ALSO suck. New void enemies are also either oneshot,stun, or are tanky as ♥♥♥♥.
-No patch notes. For a dlc. "too many changes"...Thats just lazy Hopoo cmon.
-Void fiend suffers immensely from weird design choices, and also has no alternate abilities. feels bad man
-No new items or skins for the old survivors. At all. Don't even know any changes since no patch notes.
-Drones and Turrets got nerfed hard with the Void Ticks. Engineer is now intensely frightening, since a turret could suddenly turn on you and instakill you.
-Sulphur fields.
-Host of new bugs, including one that can put you in an endless fall loop if you fall off the map.
-Some of the new items are...genuinely useless, or outright gimp you.
-Consumable items...most of them absolutely stink, or can easily be lost.
-Somebody made Fire Elites flames last way, way longer and do more damage. They also added a healing elite. The healing elite is a bastard if they spawn near a bunch of the newer, tankier, stronger enemies.
-Mobility is now even more necessary, as some of the new enemies and even a boss have somethign that make it really hard to escape them without it. Too bad absolutely no mobility was given to the survivors who really need it.
-Void Jailer is a travesty. Tanky stunner with hella damage. This one is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥.


This isn't a bad dlc. But its got a lot of issues that should've been ironed out before launch, especially with a 15 dollar pricetag. There isn't enough for me to justify 15, especially with the bugginess and lack of polish on alot of stuff...

For a while, i had issues with screen tearings and whatnot, but i still enjoyed the game. After the latest update though, that issue vanished entirely, and the game looks prettier than ever. The story being fully complete, and voice acted is a nice topping on the cake. Its genuinely a cool game, but believe me when i say it will always, somehow manage to spook you. Whether it be the limp body of a fish hitting your Seatruck, or the sudden appearance and angry roars of a leviathan from the deep.
Remember. The ocean is not your friend.

While it is a battle royale, its hard to ever get mad at the game because of its cutesy nature. I get mad at almost every game to exist, but this game has somehow made a game so entirely enjoyable and cute that you can lose every match ever and still enjoy yourself. Its got the issues of a BR (RNG can ♥♥♥♥ or love you), but even when you lose you get items, including a random chance to get a cosmetic item at the end of each match, WHICH you can also trade up for better skins.

Very lovable and enjoyable game overall.

I wish i was good though

The Bots are gone. They did it. They finally did it... this game may never see another true content update again, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is it nice to be able to play the game without threat of dozens of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bots running around.

Really awful controls. Plus the fact that its so...quiet. No background noise to make you feel less lonely, and you barely get ♥♥♥♥ from battling. Awful experience.
