The game is a ton of fun, especially with friends. The core gameplay loop is satisfying and well paced, and the devs are great. The overall tone is relaxed and silly, which contrasts well with how serious the combat can get. The music is also excellent and makes you feel like a space dwarf.

It's definitely worth the money if you enjoy the genre, and most of the DLC (exempting the species packs) are definitely worth picking up when on sale!

I've been playing this game since within a month of its release onto steam, and seeing it grow into the epic space-ninja-horde-shooter-fashion-show it is today has been a real treat. This game may not be for everyone, but if you even have the faintest glimmer of interest, give it a try; its free. The new player experience isn't great, but the community is for the most part quite nice, and will help you through anything you're stuck on if you ask. We all Lift Together; will you, Tenno?
