Exquisite. Better than Super Meat Boy, more style, more class, more action, and the best ending of any videogame I've played.

What can I say? It's Cave Story. Set a new standard for story-driven action platformers that... honestly I'm not sure has been matched in the years since. Just get it.

A surprisingly inventive and deep puzzle platformer. The graphics and music are are simple, but the controls are solid. Each room has a different platforming mechanic - and there are 100 of them.

This game would be a wonderful game to teach your child about classic 2d platforming skills. Endless variety and inventiveness here.

The game is... it's a good game, I enjoy it, but despite its somewhat clunky and unintuitive controls. Chunky. The gameplay is chunky, if I had to describe it in one word. The soundtrack is chill as ♥♥♥♥ though. I recommend it for the soundtrack.

PLayed the first few levels, it's... not... great. You run around collecting 'gems' and bonking monsters. That's it. The graphics are extraordinary, but - there's no /game/ to it. Utterly bizzare. It's like they made the first 10% of a game, the graphics, and then... just stopped.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it's a dubstep platformer. If any part of 'dubstep platformer' turns you on, you need this.

Much, much better than the console-crippled sequal F.E.A.R. 2. The office complex bulk of the game should have been cut by over a half - it's repetitive, but thankfully the gameplay makes up for it. For an almost 10 year old game, the lighting technology it uses is still better than almost anything that's come since. Which is sad, for other games.

Great cheap arcade stupid alien shooting weapon upgraing fun.

*Such* a satisfying arcadey racing game.
