i saw a review a while ago for something else with a sentiment i think applies here, too. on all levels, I wish every game at least tried to do something like this.

it's a game that feels how your brain feels now, at the intersection of our infinitely brutal, careless civilization, the digital psychedelic unreality that you feel lurking in the flashes of broken data that we've spent years gaff-taping with modern gui, and the dream desire to just pull the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trigger on hapless sickos begetting endless cycles of suffering, with the full understanding that you're just some other sicko's gun, and nothing will ever change.

the vigilante fantasy won't save you or anybody else, the world will still be monoliths of migraine inducing abstractions covered in bloodstains, and you will silently participate in the cruelty, except here, at least you get to hold the gun and play the market.

great, fun, silly, wonderful experience already, with much more to come. highly recommend

death stranding is probably my game of the decade. all i want is more AAA games that have the same creative spirit and willingness to make a type of game that nobody has ever made before.

a more than worthy successor to crusader kings 2, keeping and prioritizing the same storytelling systems that made the original so special. ultimately, i think the best games are the ones that work as a canvas to help you build something unique, a little story of your own that nobody could ever replicate. crusader kings accomplishes that better than most games ever even try to.

such a funny, charming, cute, inventive passion project of a game, one that keeps the old-school adventure game spirit alive better than I could've imagined.
