Great game but it felt a bit too disconnected from the main series. Easy to 100%.

Gameplay and battle mechanics are vastly improved from 7 and all mini-games and side content are probably the best in the series. Main complaints have been parts of the story could have been better and decision to put higher difficulty behind paywall.

In short: Weird mix of masterpiece and disappointment, that you will play to get newest chapter of your favourite soap opera.

If you have played the previous entries then you know what this is. If you haven't then go play those. This continues the story from Yakuza 6 and seems mandatory before the next game in the series (Infinite Wealth).

Shorter game that takes 20-40 hours depending on how much of the side content you find interesting.

Easy to 100% and it has Pocket Circuit mini-game

Has some annoying game mechanics and doesn't have karaoke, but overall great game with excellent plot.
