Honestly this one was almost a no from me, although there are some interesting features and the scope is good there are also a good many glitches and bugs, enough to make this game seem less like a game and more like the ongoing beta it is. that being said there are constant updates and some truly interesting gameplay and lore to be had so as long as the updates continue i have a feeling this one will pan out into a little gem.

Although i'd recommend this game there are certainly issues with the finishing touches and some bugs that persist but given the depth of the content its more than forgivable. its got a killer soundtrack that's both nostalgic yet still modern feeling and an array of classic arcade games reinvented, if not simplified. but if you don't enjoy retro games or care for the late century nostalgia then this one isn't for you!

This is a fun game lets start with that the battle royale is well ballanced and the games dont take two years, But, There are problems that will never have a decent fix. Wanna direct a show? Great! better hope nobody gives you a bad rating you for an arbitrary reason, or your out of luck! Collusion, Griefing, and a community that has no tolerance for beginners will make this one hard to pick up if you arent already steeped in the genre!

Rimworld is a fantastic colony simulator full of all kinds of surprises and challenge! a definite but for sim strategy lovers!

Let me just say I've loved Sid since I was just a boy first getting into grand strategy/4X and when I heard the newest Civ game was going to space I just about squealed. Then came Starships which despite the negativity surrounding its initial launch I bought. It was a mistake.
I find if I play a game for one hour per dollar it was worth it, its 15 dollars now and even at that price you'd be hard pressed in getting 15 hours out of this game its short, super short, even on the largest maps and longest settings, you cant control the victory conditions and the balance of combat and missions is off making certain missions really easy and others very difficult. cultivating planets feels superfluous, and having to back track to fully capture them just ends up breaking any flow they bring to 4X strategy. Its clunky, It's Unballanced its not worth the name.

All I can say is, You broke my heart Sid. </3 </3 </3

If you haven't bought this game and you like strategy games, you're broke.
if you've still played it, you're broke and resourceful. If you're waiting for an actually opinion about the gameplay, you're broke and slow witted. God bless, you're mother.
