This game is excellent.

The humor, the combat, the minigames, the in-jokes, and the graphics are all on-point, to the extent that I can say with certainty that this is one of the very best games I've ever played.

This game has some very odd controls for air units, but the rest of the game is superior to the previous games in every other way.

Early Access Review
This game is a gift to RWBY fans, which is convenient since Rooster Teeth made both. This is more fun in Early Access than most games are at launch, especially if you have a good group.
